About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Thank you very much for the delivery as yet I have not seen it but my Son has checked the item and said it was delivered in good condition. “Always send great equipment and normally in good time. This time however the wrong item was sent and it took a little bit longer to receive”

“Good product, very sturdy. Only issue is after about 1 month of use the handle pin nearly fell out as one of the ends on the tilt handle pin wasn’t squashed enough and worked thru the hole in the handle. Good thing I spotted it before I lost it. Now just to work out how to squash the end over so it dosent happen again.”

“The product is excellent and at a great bundle price. A bit slow with getting the order out and not a lot of communication about why. Knowing that now, I would still buy from them as they have very competitive prices. Overall pretty happy.”

“Great tow hitch, well built and sturdy also at such a great price. Received items quickly with. Bonus lockable pin and tow ball. Only loses one star as it was meant to fit my ranger but I had to cut 3mm off the back of the hitch to make it line up with the pin holes. This was a 20min job with 125mm grinder and thin wheel. If you didn’t have that though would have been a pain.”

“Bought a Mean Mother tyre compressor from Outback Equipment and it didn't work. Sent it back under warranty and eventually (months later) the refund came through and Outback were able to supply a good alternative (Dr Air) at no more cost, and quickly. Benjamin at Outback seemed as frustrated as I was at the delay by the supplier, but it all worked out in the end. Outback did the right thing by me”
