About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Delivery was slow, definately wasn't the 4 business days that the website said, was nearly a week before I got confirmation of being sent then spent over a week in a store in Bendigo before finally being delivered, all up was about 22 days from order placement”

“Waited weeks after ordering an item. When I called to follow up I was told they were out of stock. Someone could have called to tell me or not taken my order to start with if they didn’t have stock. As I was waiting on it for a Christmas present. Disappointed.”

“I ordered products at end of November for Xmas presents. When they hadn't arrived 3 weeks later and the courier wouldn't help I contacted Joel. He was great in chasing up their whereabouts and surprise...my package arrived 2 days later. Joel followed up with me as well which was unexpected but great customer support.”
