About Out'n'About:

Out’n’About has evolved from the days when, as new parents, we went in search of equipment that would allow us to carry on enjoying an active outdoor lifestyle, whilst being able to take the kids along too.

Since those early days Out’n’About has become one of the UK’s leading pushchair suppliers, sourcing a range of quality products and developing them to meet the specific needs of the UK market.

Initially Out’n’About pushchairs were specifically aimed towards jogging or off road use, however the three-wheeled stroller has now firmly established itself as being one of the most versatile and stylish ways for busy modern parents to transport their kids.

“The buggy Out n About Nipper is a good buggy. I'm a bit concerned if the warnings over the handle, it appears to be a weak point in the design and rather than fix it they just say you can't claim it on warranty, this seems very poor. It is also disappointing that the buggy comes with very basic equipment and to have everything else you have to spend a small fortune. The buggy is good off road which is what I bought it for and my daughter seems comfortable in it. The ordering process is difficult and if you try to purchase with any offers you cannot use Klarna. I queried the customer service and they take about 3 weeks to reply by which point any offers have expired .”

“Great for off road farm walks. I was unsure about getting a fixed front wheel but it is a must over the rough ground, so glad I purchased the sport. Great ride for our 9 month old, and has definitely given me the freedom outside I was looking for. Bad bits: The canopy bit is not big enough for walking into the sun or wind, bad design! You have to semi dismantle it to stop your child being blinded by the sun. The harness is cheap and painful to use. The winter footmuff is not worth the money and is also a cheap material, not even wind proof, mind about showerproof! For the money not sure why the waterproof cover has to be purchased separately. Overall it works, just a lot of money for what it is.”

“Very disappointed with the way they deal with my order. The parcel was sent through DPD but it never arrives to me meanwhile I kept on sending messages which were replied to within a few days. Eventually, DPD sent back the parcel to Out'n'About without me ever being noticed but I was charged 30 pounds for that. They had a disclaimer on the order saying that the customer should pay for the delivery. They didn't even provide me with tracking from DPD. So as far as I can see could be very easy a scam in which they just took 30 pounds but maybe the order never went out from the warehouse. Very disappointed”

Unfortunately with orders going outside of the UK, customs and VAT charges are incurred once the order enters the relevant country, it does state on the website when you go to pay that we do not pay the customs charges, as you do not pay VAT on your goods in the UK, you are required to pay these when the item enters your country. “Pram is good when you get used to it. It took a while to make it up as the instructions weren’t brilliant for us.. we struggled with the moving of the seats and building it.. but we are happy with it.. it doesn’t fold as small as we’d hoped but for jogging it’s really handy!”

“I love this buggy! I got this buggy to handle all terrains and it really does: pushes beautifully along pavements and the canal, and is a dream to push through the woods. It’s so light and nimble. It is easy to put together out of the box, I love how easy the wheels can be taken off which is essential for when hitting the muddy woods and going back into the boot of the car, and there is plenty of storage space in the basket underneath / additional basket I also bought. It is a little tricky to lay baby down flat when asleep or push him up when awake due to the squeeze toggle - however I’m sure when I’ve got used to it it will be breeze, and it definitely doesn’t put me off it at all. My 4 month old son is super comfy and cosy when tucked up and he is very happy with his new ride!”

“I bought my double buggy from outnabout which we loved so I had no doubts about buying a single pushchair from them too. The little nipper is really easy to fold and handles robust terrain as we live in the suburbs with wooded parklands so we needed a pushchair that could handle both paved streets and bumpy woodland paths. It is easy to keep clean and you can fit a large backpack or bag of shopping underneath. I’m 5’6 and my husband is 6’3 so it’s height adjustable handle works well for us. Highly recommend”

“I bought the Nipper Sport for off road walking and running. The big wheels and suspension are suitable for the purpose of an all- terrain pushchair. However the straps are a silly design- the harness buckle slides on and off meaning it’s very tricky to do up, especially with a wriggling baby. I emailed the company to ask for a different harness, more of a ‘clip style’ but had no response. It’s a basic oversight that makes a huge difference to the ease of use of product. I also find it very difficult to fold and takes an effort to put in the boot of my car (Ford Focus) and need to take all wheels off. Annoyingly the pushchair took a week to arrive too- I could have got it next day delivery with Amazon.”

We appreciate you taking the time to contact us regarding a different harness, and we regret not having responded sooner.The harnesses do need to be released quickly in the event of any incident in order to get your little one out of the buggy in a hurry if needed, however all feedback is greatly appreciated and will help us make the buggy even better in the future, and is something that we can have a look into improving. We understand your frustration with the difficult process of folding and disassembling the pushchair, as this is the Sport buggy with the fixed front wheel it may be that the wheels do need to be removed when popping in the car boot as it is longer than the Nipper 360. It is our priority to ensure our customers have the best experience possible with our product, so we would love to hear more about your thoughts on how we can make things better. Any suggestions or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

“Nipper sport v4 Fantastic buggy for adventures everywhere, tracks, beach, snow, forest and of course running. I did more than 1200km running as well as numerous walks with my first Nipper Sport (which I bought 2nd hand), so they are long lasting! It was starting to show its age so I got a new one and am delighted. There are a few reasons why it's not 5stars... Mainly it's a single-purpose buggy (adventures), so you are likely to want/need another smaller multipurpose buggy as well. I say this because its too big to easily navigate shops / busses, not the easiest to steer due to the fixed front wheel (especially not with 1 hand if you are trying to get a snack for your child, drink a coffee, on the phone etc) even folded it is enormous and you probably need to take wheels off to get it in your car boot & make it small enough to hide away in the house. The rear brake is fiddly / sticky, needs regular cleaning / lube & can get damaged if you try and force it on. Storage underneath is minimal and top pockets can't actually be used for much if you are folding the cover back, so you almost always need to carry a bag as well. If you can live with those features / flaws (which I definitely can) its amazing, but if you are looking for a single buggy to do everything, this probably isn't it, try the Nipper, or GT instead!”
