“I can now believe what others are saying about those 4 and 5 star reviews because I was offered the same one month free by Jeff at Overflow Cafe if I was willing to remove a bad review I posted on Yelp. We have used this service for over 18 month hoping to see any difference in our keyword ranking. We got nothing. Like everyone else, we were totally fooled by those monthly reports we receive that has data with no proof behind them. When I saw the many bad reviews on Yelp, we started to pay attention to those reports. Like everyone else says, those reports are the same every month and they send to all customer just by changing the web site. They are all fake reports. If the data was real, you would expect to click on any number to see the details behind it. No way, no such thing. Examples of fake data, that I am sure other have seen are the number of back links they created, the number of toxic links they removed, the progress in ranking keywords, the comparison with your competition, etc. I repeatedly requested from them to send me data, never received any. The most I get is things we increased your site authority by 80% and increased your site visibility by 80%. Any proof? no, any idea where they come up with these numbers? no. Bottom line, cut your losses and stop using their service and do not be fooled by those reports they send you. it is all fake. I need to mention that I was threatened by Jeff at Overflow Cafe that If I write any bad reviews, he would do the same to us.”
“When we signed up with Cafe Overflow, we were in the top 3 website listings on page 1 of the Google search. Since competition has been increasing, I signed up with Cafe Overflow in hopes of maintaining our position. But after a year we've fallen over onto page 2. As another reviewer commented, they're rude and condescending. Today I was told, "as I've tried to explain to you before without luck... many industries and products are dying out." What does this have to do with keeping our site on Google's 1st page, which is what your advertising says you do? If our industry is dying out, why are we getting so many Google ad clicks and it's costing us in the hundreds every month? Why is has our sales been steadily increasing over the past 20 years? I believe our money would have been better invested hiring a company to maximize our Google ads.”
