“We love panda tree. We use it for our 5 year old to start learning Spanish. I do wish the tutors were more kid friendly for virtual learning, such as using props or funny hats. One tutor we found does this, and my son loves her. When she is not available, he doesn't want to do class as other tutors are boring to him. Related to this, when his favorite teacher is gone, there is no warning, note when she will be back, or at to contact her about her return. Is she gone forever? A week? It's a problem because she is the tutor my son wants. In general, the program is nice. My son does want to learn more useful things though (preschool class is colors and animals).”

“I have used PandaTree for Mandarin lessons for two of my children. My oldest child is an intermediate level (5 years of Mandarin immersion in public school) and my youngest child is a beginner level. We have used the same tutor for both children and she was great to adapting her lesson for the skill level of my children. She uses lots of songs, rhymes, props, and the technology available on the PandaTree platform to reinforce the learning. After our sessions, I also get an update on the materials covered in the lesson as well as tips to help my kids make progress in their language acquisition. “I have two children who both study their foreign language with Panda Tree. My ten year old studies Mandarin and my eight year old studies Spanish. Panda Tree has been an amazing resource for our family! I love that a short biography is available for each tutor before you book a lesson. This lets me choose someone with experience that fits well with my child. Learning a foreign language is especially difficult for my youngest, but we can always find a tutor who is patient and encouraging with him. He used to get so frustrated with any workbooks, online programs, and private tutors that I tried. Now he loves Learning Spanish!
