“Delivery was actually an hour earlier than expected which wasn’t a problem. However I have never had more surly delivery people, no-one actually spoke to me at any point, one said absolutely nothing and the other one only grunted. They dumped the new mattress on the side, took the old mattress off the bed and were about to leave when I asked them to unwrap the new mattress and put it on the bed. One just left and went the van and the other one did as he was asked but with very bad grace. I’m in my 70s and you’d have thought a bit of common courtesy would have them do that without being asked. At least he took the packaging way with him. But if I never have another delivery from Panther it will be too soon.”
“I can't fault the timing of the mattress arriving but for friendliness of the people delivering it I'd give a zero. I understand that they may not have had a strong grasp of the English language but they didn't say one word apart from "sign here" and didn't even smile. It was very unnerving and unpleasant. Please train your drivers to be more polite and friendly - it really does make such a huge difference.”
“Panther guys turned with our 65in Oled tv - had to be prompted to set up (already billed for) and then requested the right screwdriver as as hadn’t got one.Unbelievable. TV had to be returned for replacement as defective- maybe due to their unprofessional set up. Really bad day. Samsung direct should chose a better delivery partner!”
“I’m extremely unsatisfied with my delivery experience!! The delivery itself was quick and tracking was made available with regular texts and updates. The issue being the men that delivered it where rude and impolite and showed no interest in completing the task at hand. The package its self with bashed up the stairs and not handled with care resulting in few scraps and marks. After paying £60+ for delivery unsure if I would use this company again”
“Good communication but totally inflexible. I needed them to leave my delivery in a safe place, where every delivery company I use is happy to do so but no, these guys insist on a face to face signed for delivery. I don't want to sign for anything given the COVID risk. I'll never buy from any company which uses these guys. Unbelievable.”
“Would have been 4 stars but for the driver who flat refused to remove my old mattress from the front door because it "Wasn't on his list". Even when I showed him the email confirming I'd paid extra for disposal he wasn't interested and left.
I hope he enjoyed driving through rush hour city traffic to come back and pick it up at 6pm after I phoned and told Panther what had happened.
Up to then the service had been good. Plenty of communication and regular updates spoilt at the last minute by the human element. To be fair, the customer service team sorted it but the situation was very badly handled by the delivery driver.”
“Arranged a 2 man delivery and installation of my washing machine and disposal of the old one.
Two people delivered machine but when it came to installing it the fitter!!/delivery man had a new small tool kit which he was unable to undo the fitting on the pipe with, told me they couldn’t complete the installation and would have to leave it until somebody came the next day. On top of that he told me this was the first washing machine he had installed. They put the washing machine in the garage and went off. I managed to get somebody I knew who was a plumber to come in and dismantle the offending fitting from the water pipe... he couldn’t believe they were unable to disconnect it.... then phoned Panther to get them back to complete the installation and disposal of my old machine. Back they came then told me they were unable to disconnect the other end of the pipe from my old machine. I then phoned a friend to come and help them but in the meantime they decided that they could disconnect the pipe. After cutting a bigger hole in my cupboard to enable fitting the machine, they connected it only to remember that they had left the transit bolts holding the drum still on. Out came the machine again and lucky my plumber friend was there as they didn’t have the spanner in their Mickey Mouse tool kit that they needed to get the Bolts off but he did. They just pushed the machine back in they space it was going in and took off. Later when I was going to do the drum clean, as stated in the instruction booklet, I discovered I had no water going to the machine and once that was turned on and started washing realised they hadn’t levelled it so it was jumping all over the place and had to get it sorted out myself. This man and boy that came we’re quite pleasant enough but were out of their depth and in reality were just delivery driver and assistant. If Panther are going to offer a service to install equipment please make sure you train your staff. Would not recommend.”
