“Placed an order on 1st March. Received email from Parcelforce on 5th saying item being delivered that day...it wasn't. Went to tracking on 6th and saw the item was out for delivery ,, it wasn't. Went to tracking on 7th and saw that item out for delivery between 11am and noon by Matthew.. it wasn't. Went to tracking evening of 7th and saw that an attempted delivery was made and a card left. Well a card wasn;'t left and we have been home all day.

“Aviod Parcelforce like the Plague
I sent a package using Parcelforce on 26/02/18 which was scheduled for delivery on 28/02/18. I can't express just how bad the service has been! The test of a good company is how they deal with complaints and on this Parcelforce is failing miserably. Not only did my parcel not arrive on time, as of today 07/03/18 -
10 days after shipment the package is still in the UK Sorting hub. I have posted the details of my packages crazy journey below so you can see just how bad it is-

I run an online business and ship items internationally on a weekly basis using mainly Royal Mail, FedEx and DHL and have never had this kind of bad service from a shipping company. I now have a customer in the US who is very upset wth me and will most probably leave my business a bad review because after almost 2 weeks the items has not arrived or left the UK. I can request the money for the shipment back, but who is going to repair the damage to my business?? I called Parcelforce today an spoke to 3 separate people today and the issue is still not is resolved. I was told a person in international would call me back! No ownership, very rude customer service reps along the way and still no callback.
Please avoid this company for your sanity!!!!”
“A parcel was sent to me on Monday 5th March using Parcelforce. It was dispatched from Basingstoke and was at my Newport dispatch centre yesterday 6th March and was dispatched, according to the tracking info. at 8.18 today 7th March. Parcel website says that by downloading the app you can track your parcel using a real time map. It doesn't appear to exist. And now the tracking info says my parcel has been collected from Basingstoke (again) at 10.15am today. 7th March. Sorry is not good enough from such a reputable company.”

“I do not know what is happening with parcelforce, I booked and paid for a parcel yesterday , they never collected it and could give no reason for not doing so, instead they told me all they could do is re book it for today between 12 and 3pm, Well it is now 4 pm and they have not collected, I live in a village on a main road so there can be no problems finding me, I have complained again and simply been told they would re book it for tomorrow, the operator initially refused to give the details of the complanies department and instead told me she would deal with it . Eventually they gave me the details reluctantly. What a terrible service I can only suggest you don't use parcel force that is spelt with a very small p.”
“Business owner heavily out of pocket thanks to ParcelForce. Parcel arrived with a large hole in the box and contents destroyed, despite being very well packaged with bubble wrap and foam pads. After completing the lengthy and convoluted claims process, Parcelforce are still refusing to admit fault. A truly useless company who do not care about their customers.”

“You cannot rely on Parcelforce as a delivery company, we have been let down few times. If you call the depot they will assure you driver is running late and someone is on the way but in reality driver is already gone home without collection.
They even have a collection manager and an account manager but I don't think they are doing their job properly.”
“Timeslot delivery DOES NOT WORK, yet they continue to use it. I received a Time slot delivery by text message at 8:10am on day of delivery (12:00 to 13:00). I received an update text message at 11:28am with a revised delivery of 11:58 to 12:58, at which point I was on my way home to receive the parcel. At 11:43am I received another text message to say Parcelforce have attempted to deliver the parcel but no one is home. I immediately called Parcelforce and found out they actually attempted delivery at 11:23am. Incredible that I received the delivery update 5 minutes after they tried to delivery!!!!! I requested that the driver redeliver and they said they would text him. On further conversations they all blamed the new system they were trialling. Interestingly I had exactly the same problem 3 months earlier with the same excuses. Its a terrible service, but the driver did return within an hour and deliver my parcel which is the only reason I can gave 2 stars.”
“A Parcel (expensive item) picked up from London to travel effectively 50's mile south has taken in excess of 10 days to arrive (still don't have it). It has gone from London - Coventry - London East - Coventry - London North - Coventry - Tonbridge - back to Tonbridge - Wow, if that is not an example of true incompetence what is!!!!!!”
“After five failed re delivery days they have still failed to deliver a 60th Birthday parcel from the Beckton depot. The reason they give is 'driver says parcel is being refused.' Why on earth would I keep ringing them every other day asking where is my parcel? Only to refuse it again and again. Each time they promise to get it sorted and draw a line be under it but fail miserably. The obvious answer is the driver is attempting to deliver to the wrong address! The staff are out right lying to me and have ruined what was supposed to be a 60th Birthday surprise gift. I am awaiting a rearranged delivery as I list this negotiated between my daughter and Parcel Force East (Beckton) but as yet , as expected no delivery. This will be the 6th time I have stayed at home for this. Other parcels or post have been delivered everyday to my address for my daughter from other couriers obviously much more reliable than Parcel Farce !! Would give them 0 score if it was an option.”
“Item collected from home Feb 13th with delivery date 15th , tracked parcel to there depot after which my parcel has " vanished " , they can not find . Have put in claim they will only refund the cost of insurance stated at the time of booking which was £100 . This was ebay item so I now have to refund buyer £125 for the price of the sale ( plus my postage ) , so I am OUT of pocket by £25 ( they obviously never heard of goodwill or good PR ) . This is there fault COMPLETELY , very poor service ( how can they lose a tracked item ? ) , will NOT use again . EX customer . Signed annoyed .”

“I ordered an 2 osprey back pack from the osprey site. Firstly parcel force could not find my address 2 days in a row, even though I get mail delivered most days! So this was incompetence of the delivery person. I therefore went to collect it after work on the third day. Upon receiving the parcel at the Rotherham depot, I found that the box had been opened at one end, and the more expensive rucksack was missing! I contacted their support where they decided to tell me everything I sent in the email, with no useful customer friendly response, investigation or resolution. Absolutely rubbish service.”

“THE WORST POSTAL SERVICE EVER.
I received a birthday present from the US, and when I got it it was utterly SOAKED in rainwater. The gifts were damaged, the card was illegible, one of the gifts was a book which was expensive, and is now entirely soaked through and water damaged. They tried to DENY that they were responsible, and we are now fighting for some compensation for an absolutely disgusting service. If you can, avoid avoid avoid.”
