“If I could leave minus 5 stars I would! I paid for a premium service to deliver a letter from the UK to Gibraltar. The letter was posted on 14 April and the tracking said it would arrive no later than 20 April. As of today - 1 May, it still hasn't even left the UK. I contacted customer service and they basically said, there is a pandemic, you just have to wait. Gibraltar is Covid free and a green travel destination. We have between 2 - 3 flights arriving from the UK daily and so their excuse is rubbish. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.”

On Saturday 24th I arranged redelivery via the Parcelfarce website to my neighbour across the road for Tuesday 27th, and this was acknowledged by Parcelfarce by email later the same day. However, they tried to deliver again on Monday 26th when I was at work. On Tuesday 27th my neighbour sat in all day waiting and nothing turned up. I contacted Parcelfarce to complain Tuesday evening:
"It should have been redelivered to my neighbour at **address** today (27/4) but it was returned to the depot yesterday and no delivery made today. When can my neighbour expect delivery?"
and got this on Thursday from Jonny:

"When we attempted to deliver your parcel our driver found there was no one available to accept it. Therefore, our driver has returned this to the local depot at the address listed below."
No explanation as to why a redelivery attempt was made on a date I had not asked for (Monday) and when I would be absent. No mention of the pre-arranged and acknowledged redelivery not turning up on Tuesday. No reply to the question "when can my neighbour expect delivery?", no hint of apology for wasting her time.

Why do I get an email saying I have a 1 hour time slot between 10:06 and 11:06 and then call customer-dis-service after 13:06 to be told "Thats just an estimate" and "We'll phone the driver". Why the lies? Just admit - it will be delivered if we dont lose it. Eventually.”

“Had a parcel collected from my house that was 10kg and very large, over 1m long and it got lost!! 2 months passed and they have had no record of this parcel ever being sent. Had to try and investigate myself after 3 months and the company realised that they put the wrong label on which got sent to a huge depot. They said they there is zero chance it will ever be found. Very careless, caused me so much stress as this was a gift for someone. Paid so much for this service which are completely useless, should be ashamed.”
“They took my parcel to the post office after a failed delivery but the issue is the post office only open for a couple of hours during the day. As someone who works full time I have no way of collecting. I called to re-arrange delivery but the adviser told me if I work during the day anyway it'd be pointless! Can leave in a safe place like every other delivery company but not these. Got to cancel order with the store now and no doubt wait weeks for a refund!”
“Failed to deliver a parcel and after 3 months they still haven't coughed up compensation for losses. I will never use them again and recommend that everyone stays well away from them unless you can afford to lose what you're sending. Think about it: they are cheap for a reason.”

“I ordered a courier service through Parcelforce (who allocated the pick to Hermes), The courier didn't turn up to pick up the parcel multiple times. Complete waste of time and money. Parcelforce also charge a cancellation fee via their website.
On a more positive note Parcelforce's customer service were swift in resolving my query in order to get a full refund.”
“Don’t use them. I paid £42 for express postage of documents abroad. One week later the only update on their tracking system is that the parcel left the UK on April 14th.
They can’t give me any information from their so-called customer service. All I’ve heard is that it's Covid fault?! Appalling service.”
“My parcel was sent out at the beginning of December as a Christmas present to my family member. I have requested several updates from Parcelforce as it was not delivered for 4 weeks. Parcelforce responded that it is at the depot and they will aim to deliver the item ASAP. However, after several check-ins they have finally reported my parcel was lost.
I had to submit at least 4 different types of forms to claim my money back. They have terminated this case and then started it again. Now they are claiming that they have to receive confirmation from an addressee saying that he have not received the parcel and indicate the approximate cost for the parcel content. It is surprising how unprofessional this company is. The addressee hasn't received they letter in post, although it was sent out almost a month ago. It's been almost 5 months since I sent the parcel out and I have to still fight this battle. If you are considering their service, I would say - please, leave this option as your very last option”
“Parcelforce is THE worst delivery company I have ever dealt with.
First time experience with them they supposedly came by my house every day of the week in the morning, I wasn’t home because I work every day and then online it said that the driver left a card every day. I never received a delivery notification card. It was a pain trying to track down my parcel and they only deliver from Monday through Friday and for Saturday delivery they charge £12. Now I’m waiting for a parcel again, it was handed over to Parcelforce Wednesday and just today Friday it showed up in their tracking system. The other merchandise I had ordered from the same company has arrived today and was delivered by Royal Mail. I cannot believe Parcelforce is still in business. Didn’t even want to give 1 star.”

Waited all day for a delivery from them at 5:30pm updated tracked to attempted delivery when I rang up they told me the driver was not even on my street when he attempted delivery now have to wait until tomorrow going away for the weekend for my birthday and now one of my main presents I was going to take away with me I cannot absolutely useless service I have advised the Company I will not be placing any more orders until there is at least 1 other delivery service available”
“Waited in all day for my parcel, didn't show up and when i left my home i found a note, not in my letterbox but on the stairs in my block, they didn't even post it through my door, not to mention i was in and waiting for it. next day was a similar deal. whats worrying is coming here to find im FAR FROM ALONE! how is this shambles of a company still in business? definitely would NOT recommend.”

Didn’t even want to give it a 1 star rating but gave me no option, if there were minus stars I’d have used them. After waiting 3 days for my delivery & being told on the 12th & 13th that Parcelforce had attempted to deliver my parcel, which was lies because the 12th my daughter was in with the door open all day & the 13th I was in the garden playing with my 2 yr old granddaughter ALL day till 3pm, their courier, Peter decided not to try opening an unlocked gate (my daughter watched him from an upstairs window), proceed to throw it over a 6ft fence causing damage to my parcel which I now have to wait until the 26th April to get another cabinet only available online which has caused me to cancel all my custom cake orders as I do not have a working kitchen to run my business causing loss of earnings totalling over £1600, one being a wedding this week. Putting that aside there is a more serious matter which is that literally 5 minutes before he threw the parcel (a kitchen bridging unit weighing 7.5kg and the other items I had ordered so over 10kg in weight) my daughter had taken my 2yr old granddaughter inside from where she had been playing all day in the garden. Peter needs to be dismissed immediately as he didn’t know what or who could have been on the other side of the 6ft fence & this could have been such a more serious matter if she had still been playing outside & the parcel hit her!!! He could have maimed or killed my granddaughter if it had hit her. The man is an absolute joke doing something like that & I pray he doesn’t have any children with an idiot like that as a father, it’s common sense. Peter needs to be dismissed from the company to prevent anyone getting hurt by his lack of skills to be a delivery driver. He honestly can’t have a single brain cell & is going to seriously hurt someone with his behaviour. What kind of people do Parcelforce employ & look at the way the staff treat the parcels in their care and behave with such lack of consideration for human life!!!”
