“Sent out my parcel since March and as at today 11may recipient have not recieved anything. You cant reach parcelforce on phone, they keep making promises and yet nothing. We have asked them to return to sender and they have told us to wait for another 3weeks.
My advice, dont ever consider using parcelforce for international delivery or any delivery at all. They are slow, liars and not reliable. They will leave you regretting ever contacting them.”
“They did not deliver my parcel on the day it was supposed to be delivered and claimed that nobody was there to receive it which is a lie because I was waiting outside my home the whole time so if someone was trying to deliver my package I’d have seen them.”
“They did not attempt to deliver my parcel and did not leave a card to say that they had attempted delivery. Liars. I have no transport and will have to walk to and from my local depot which is miles a way and highly inconvenient.”
“It is their business model to fail delivery with the excuse of "insufficient address" for you to book a re-delivery slot which is charged. Never had an issue with any deliveries made by DHL, Hermes or DPD. I think their drivers just look up your address and if it is convenient for them to deliver it they will, otherwise they just bring it back to the depot.”
“Took well packaged parcel down to local post office to return items in one parcel to ex-girlfriend. First thing they asked was what is in package? This was noted. parcel never arrived. I mislaid receipt so asked for printout as I knew what day and time I took parcel to post office. THEY KEEP NO RECORDS SO CLAIMS CANNOT BE MADE...
Phoned police to report theft. They found same response. MUST SAVE THEM MILLIONS OF POUNDS IN CLAIMS BY ADOPTING THIS POLICY...
The local Post Office has on average only around 3 Parcel Force packages a day collected from their store so getting a duplicate receipt should have been easy....
This is 2021 where everything is recorded so should be easily traceable.
It is virtually impossible to speak to a human being so if your parcel goes missing it's tough luck.
In future if I have anything of value, will use Shiply and at least then can choose best quote and see reviews of courier before getting them to pick up package.
It is my belief that theft at Parcel Force is endemic and the fact that they ask what is in each package helps theives to steal your parcel if they think it has something they want. All I'm left with is a bitter memory from a company who are impossible to get hold of when parcels go missing because of automated system. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE AND DON'T BECOME A VICTIM OF THEFT.”
“The Parcelforce customer services are a joke. I posted an international parcel over a month ago and the app says it’s been sent to the desitination country and delivered back to where I posted it but no one has it. I can’t speak to a human to understand where it is and what went wrong and the email system has taken 3 days to respond with utter gibberish. I paid £50 for this service and it’s been a complete waste of time. This company will go bust very quickly. If only we could short Royal Mail.”
“Really bad service from Parcel Force.
I won't leave the parcel at home if no one is there, (do they think everyone has to be home waiting for parcels?)
Then if you ask to re-deliver Saturday they will charge you £12
I think they are cashing in by not leaving the parcels and forcing people to pay when you at home.
AVOID THEM”
“This is a parcel delivery company. They did not even attempt to deliver my parcel. I know this because I arranged collection between 12:30 and 15:30 from my workplace and at 12:00 I checked the tracker and saw that they said collection failed because I was not at their depot at 11:30.
Please consider this rating a 0/5.”
“Similar to another post, said thy attempted to deliver an left a card, no attempt to deliver, no card, apparently when thy have too many parcels to successfully deliver all of them, thy do this, v upsetting and confusing for customers, sd thy wd deliver next day, did not, after many calls sd thy wd call driver an eventually del made at 3pm that day, contacted them saying why not offer an, aim, to deliver, as opposed to promising delivery, and if its due to pandemic just be honest, do not say you left a card, when u know u av not even made an attempt to deliver, but if thy av charged for 24hr del an then do not fulil the obligation, the cust can then claim, so i think thy say thy attempted an u were not in, which is v unprofessional, and not acceptable, are parcel force aware of so many negative reviews, are thy reviewing and attempting to improve performance are the regulators looking in to this as i do nitvsee oarcel force acknowledging these reviews”
“If I could leave minus 5 stars I would! I paid for a premium service to deliver a letter from the UK to Gibraltar. The letter was posted on 14 April and the tracking said it would arrive no later than 20 April. As of today - 1 May, it still hasn't even left the UK. I contacted customer service and they basically said, there is a pandemic, you just have to wait. Gibraltar is Covid free and a green travel destination. We have between 2 - 3 flights arriving from the UK daily and so their excuse is rubbish. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.”
“Parcelfarce.
My parcel was first delivered on Friday 23rd April when I was at work. On Saturday 24th I arranged redelivery via the Parcelfarce website to my neighbour across the road for Tuesday 27th, and this was acknowledged by Parcelfarce by email later the same day. However, they tried to deliver again on Monday 26th when I was at work. On Tuesday 27th my neighbour sat in all day waiting and nothing turned up. I contacted Parcelfarce to complain Tuesday evening:
"It should have been redelivered to my neighbour at **address** today (27/4) but it was returned to the depot yesterday and no delivery made today. When can my neighbour expect delivery?"
and got this on Thursday from Jonny:
Reference Number: 3-1008670295622
"When we attempted to deliver your parcel our driver found there was no one available to accept it. Therefore, our driver has returned this to the local depot at the address listed below."
No explanation as to why a redelivery attempt was made on a date I had not asked for (Monday) and when I would be absent. No mention of the pre-arranged and acknowledged redelivery not turning up on Tuesday. No reply to the question "when can my neighbour expect delivery?", no hint of apology for wasting her time.
Draw your own conclusions.”

“Slow. Slow. Did I mention slow?
Lack of detail from parcelfarce as well as GLS.
Tracking is an absolute joke.
Why do I get an email saying I have a 1 hour time slot between 10:06 and 11:06 and then call customer-dis-service after 13:06 to be told "Thats just an estimate" and "We'll phone the driver". Why the lies? Just admit - it will be delivered if we dont lose it. Eventually.”
“Lost 2 parcels ,......My parcels were under investigation for 3 months and when i made the claim for compensation their response was .....now is to late
SHAME ON PARCEL-FORCE”
“Had a parcel collected from my house that was 10kg and very large, over 1m long and it got lost!! 2 months passed and they have had no record of this parcel ever being sent. Had to try and investigate myself after 3 months and the company realised that they put the wrong label on which got sent to a huge depot. They said they there is zero chance it will ever be found. Very careless, caused me so much stress as this was a gift for someone. Paid so much for this service which are completely useless, should be ashamed.”
“They took my parcel to the post office after a failed delivery but the issue is the post office only open for a couple of hours during the day. As someone who works full time I have no way of collecting. I called to re-arrange delivery but the adviser told me if I work during the day anyway it'd be pointless! Can leave in a safe place like every other delivery company but not these. Got to cancel order with the store now and no doubt wait weeks for a refund!”
“Failed to deliver a parcel and after 3 months they still haven't coughed up compensation for losses. I will never use them again and recommend that everyone stays well away from them unless you can afford to lose what you're sending. Think about it: they are cheap for a reason.”
“Left 2 'unable to deliver' cards, despite us being in and leaving a note explaining we were in, and asking him to knock on the correct door, which was completely ignored, we almost had the sense he was being as difficult as possible.”
