STAY WELL CLEAR OF PDSA NEW CROSS - took my dog here after he was diagnosed with parvo only to be told by the lady vet that they won’t treat him until I pay £350 even tho I informed her this is a lot of money and that I don’t even get that in a month she then sent my poor dog home to die and who did sadly die that same nite ... absolutely vile vet and practice

Absolutely shocking money making. Cheaper go to a normal vet . 5 days antibiotics then bring them back. How's about a full course I couldv got from a normal vet. Plus let my cat die. Did nothing for him. Took the money though to have him not treated and then to have him put down. And then to have him buried. USELESS.

I was accepted for PDSA pet care. Their recommended vet on the Isle of Wight does not currently have a veterinary surgeon!! I've paid money for nothing! Attempting to contact their customer service has been hell. 30 mins on phone and got nowhere!! Online complaint form will not accept my postcode!! Dreadful. I will NEVER donate a penny to them again. Something seriously wrong....

They won’t see my dog said that I’m breeding her when she accidentally got mates on a prolonged heat which I took her to Pdsa for them to tell me to spade her she is a co owed dog and don’t have full rights to do it not their refusing to see her for potential piametrie booked her appointment last week her appointment should be today at 4 pm but I received a phone call this morning saying they won’t see her because it’s to do with breeding my dog wasn’t intentionally bread it was acidental as it was to a Shiapoo and I have a frenchie she one years old and didn’t want her having a litter till at least 2 and a half years old she sadly lost the pup I can’t afford the private care as I’m a single parent on benefits and this is what the Pdsa service is for yet their refusing to even see my dog . In my opinion they do care for the welfare of animals at all or they would of helped her and me and told me the relevant places I need to take her to terminate the pregnancy but the Pdsa wouldn’t scan her I took her for a private scan she is pregnant and to far to do anything but if the Pdsa would have stayed this when I took her last to be scanned by themselves and they refused but wanted me to spay her with a potential puppy in her it’s absolutely disgusting the service I have received from they they don’t care about the animals they just care about the money as they try to trick the elderly into giving donations that they can’t afford this service really needs looking into as my dog is suffering and they won’t even see what is wrong wouldn’t recommend using this vets at all

o your self a Favre Dos’t wast your cash on charity for the likes of PDSA, instead try invest in devices that can be used to help pets your self if your a pet lover. I found a Squirrel injured and drop it on the 19/05/2022 by the help of a friend. Next day on the 20/05/2022 at 8:35am I went back to find out by a staff that they do don’t have means to help Squirrels they just put it to sleep, this was at the in Bow, east london branch, had they mention this the 1st tome I would of taken it home and try giving it some time for recovery. The British value, stun the animal and make it suffer before slaughtering, and charity organisations in UK = give cash or we put it to sleep i.e no time for treating animals and pets for free. I was a customer for my baby cat’t and I will never go back there or recommend them.

Absolutely barbaric in my opinion I took my 17 year old dog to them, they said she had pyometra never discussed antibiotics or anything just said shes old, going blind and has breast cancer she will have to be euthanized. I explained she was bouncy and full of life, enjoying her walks, eating and drinking fine. I didn't listen and decided to get a second opinion so I took millie to a private vet who did an ultrasound put millie on a course of antibiotics and pain relief we are two weeks on now shes doing really well and enjoying her last bit of time in life her infection is clearing up, any extra weeks are a bonus we have her here if we had listened to pdsa millie wouldn't be here now. I definitely would not recommend, also millie had a heart murmur yet they said she had a healthy heart I wouldn't trust anything they say in my opinion.

NEWHALL RD PDSA killers! NEVER take your pet as it won’t come out alive NEVER take your pet as it won’t come out alive. My healthy 14 year old cat went in they butchered her then said she had diabetes, said she needed 2 injections per day! Gave her one a day then Said she wouldn’t eat! I took her home she ate but as they were only giving her one injection obviously her blood sugar would go up! We went back they took her in then said her sugar was higher and that’s caused by stress then apparently her kidneys were failing! The day before I was told her kidneys were perfect! Funny I’ve read that this is what they tell everyone so I’ve read! she was too ill and had not eating due to stress of being there and had to be put to sleep. 💔💔💔 Majority cold hearted vets all they are bothered about is MONEY kept saying pay pay pay! I’d pay more and go to a proper vet where they would care! Never go to Newhall Road PDSA Sheffield. Love your pets I regret taking my beloved princess there and buried her yesterday 💔💔💔 don’t think you will be the exception you won’t. Every second person who was in the waiting room was told to put their pets to sleep! They want a quick buck but nothing long term to care for. Sick people and they call it a F charity! Charity of DEATH !

Not charitable anymore, I have an 8 week old puppy that needs vaccinating and I'm told they don't do it anymore, was told I would have to find another vet to do this, and using the excuse of the pandemic!, spoke to the rsoca how said that due to pdsa cuts people are struggling financially with their animals, pdsa don't give a stuff, I've always made donations to them but I will not be doing it anymore. They are now as useless as a chocolate tea pot.

Absolutely SHOCKING customer service!!!! Don't use them for pet insurance because they WILL NOT pay out and they will not help you with any of it. It has been 4 months since my claim and I have spoken to numerous people over the phone to be told different things each time. I was promised calls on certain dates at certain times to which I did not hear back. They ignore your emails because they cannot be bothered to deal with you.

PDSA Edinburgh After rushing in my beloved Bordeux on early hours Wednesday they were great ( vets for pets I believe ) charged £130 told to take him back during day day which I did and we're great stating what was wrong & his quality of life and do I won't to put him down now , I ask is he suffering they said not on pain killers but bladder could bust as not peeing I've probley easy spent £600 + since Wednesday morning with visits but my lad is worth every penny ! Friday I was told he was coming in be put down which agreed , I spoke to vet states how he was ie no pain peeing and happy just to be at home around his family and wanted to give him his bucket list which she agreed too I arranged for check up @ 16:30 kept waiting until 17;30 then met with a rude girl who said muzzel him the said he tried to bite her after she went to his bum , well sorry but he does that with me , since when is a dog's bladder checked on there rear !! Top it off she started to rattle off about contacting SSPCA , remember I am standing there in tears in my works uniform which tell her I ain't no scum or daft guy ( blue light ) I removed my dog he's been home since checked by local vet taken off methadone and put on other pain killer and understanding if he starts to go down hill they will come out and put him down if needed To add insult part of my bill paid on every visit states phone consultation @ £40 even though am actually in the place No communication between notes and staff , last girl delt with even the other staff member looked at her in disgust with her comments My local vet is cheaper and had only wished I had read the reviews Do not use what I thought was a charity and would give best care While some staff good others a complete let down , if I was to turn up to road accident or fire and give options on the people I would soon be out a job !! Will I ever use them again NEVER !!

Bournemouth branch. I have a 3 month old puppy, presenting some severe symptoms and he was given steroids without an investigation to diagnosis. I've been twice and both times I've heard were a charity we don't investigate that. Not sure if it's covid and funding has been pulled on everything. The vet looked into his ears, did a swab, But After coming out he was yelping in pain and couldnt walk, I had to carry him, he couldn't drink or eat with out screaming. I called them up and they said he's probably sensitive after looking in his ears. Well I had the same examination a a private vets and he didn't have the same reaction. He needs stomach and skin investigations but 'its a Charity' and got fobbed off. Steroids made no difference. Also no vaccines or nueturing services. So I guess that just leaves life threatening emergencies or will you will you get a 'were a charity we don't do that' or it's time to put him down? I'm frustrated that there isn't help for people who are disabled and can't work because knowing what I know now I probably wouldn't have got an animal knowing vet costs are so high. I have low cost insurance and just hope that will cover everything though it probably won't.
