Do not take your pet to pdsa. They will not inform you of treatment your pet needs in order to save funding. After many visits to pdsa my cat had to be put to sleep via a private vet whom diagnosed heart failure and rotten teeth. Pdsa left me ignorant to her suffering.

Don't like the way these vets treat me and cleo I'd rather pay extra for better care then be with PDSA they say cleo has to be in carrier it's there policy they said they will refuse her nexts time I said she is not stressed she relaxs not only that everything is ment to be free if ur on Uc but they changed me 50 for jabs and chip and not only that it's I was told on phone flee treatment is free as well they wouldn't do the chip till second appointment they gave me 1 flea treatment took 9 pound of my money for chip with out telling me that I had to pay couldn't get the chip done because they wanted there money now I feel the vet I saw was really rude to me she said they put cleo first and she should be in carrier when on buses and it's there policy that they won't let her be seen by a vet if she's not in a carrier because it can stressed her out she don't get stressed even wen she sees dogs at the vets ps I've checked the policy it's not on there about cats being in carrier

Why can you never find a client record in order to book an appointment? It's getting ridiculous.

They were amazing in the treatment and attention that my dog received in his last year of life, they gave him a diagnosis on the first visit, after other veterinarians did not do so, he had treatment, follow-up, and quality of life until the end . I couldn't be more grateful, they are great professionals.

Do not take your pet to pdsa. They will not diagnose essential treatment in order to save funding. Both my cats attended pdsa on numerous occasions. One was put to sleep by a private vet whom diagnosed heart disease and dental disease. Could not afford to save both pets so had to make the decision over who lives and who dies. Paid over 1,300 to save pet who didn’t have heart disease. Devastating position pdsa put me in. Both had poorly teeth.

The PDSA does what they can with the volume of animals needing reduced-cost care. This includes many people who abuse the system and use their friend's or relative's benefits to get in. Unfortunately this leaves many gaps in care, especially preventive (like vaccines, neutering, dental). You will NOT receive the quality of care that you would from a private vet. PDSA is best for euthanasia, and if you have an animal that needs putting to sleep and cannot afford to go elsewhere, this is the place to contact. Private vets are required to provide first aid (pain relief or euthanasia) if you cannot get into the PDSA for some reason, remind a private vet of this.

Please don’t take your pets to pdsa. They won’t inform you of medical treatment your pet needs. One pet died due to dental disease and heart disease. She had to be put down by a private vet. Just paid over 1,000 for treatment for second pet; dental disease. Both pets were consulted via pdsa, both pets were left untreated. Animal abuse and left me ignorant: informed me they were healthy

Do not take your pet to any pdsa. They are not informing owners that their pets need life saving treatment in order to save money. Please please take your pet to a private vet. I lost one cat due to heart failure and rotten teeth. Multiple visits to pdsa but no treatment offered. They left me ignorant; informing me she was ok because she was eating and drinking

Do not take your pet to pdsa. They will tell you they are fine to save money. I lost a cat with heart failure because pdsa refused to tell me she had heart failure and also tooth decay. Absolutely devastating treatment.

No stars for the PDSA, so called charity. Should hold Thor heads in shame, called 3 times today explain my dog is unwell and needs to be seen. They asked her symptoms I gave them, they said I did NOT sound like and emergency and told to fill out a form. Long story short of this horrific battle throughout the day trying to get urgent appointment, she passed away in my arms. Thank you PDSA for the most horrific day of my life to date, this would had been avoided if you would had seen her!

Vets Cardiff pdsa are a bunch of narcissists. Refused to treat my poorly cat on numerous visits. Gave me verbal abuse on numerous visits. I know now My cat was dying with heart failure. They wobbled a dying tooth which must of been painful for her and said “she is absolutely tamping” if you are sadistic and enjoy seeing animal abuse this is the veterinary for you. I’m 55 and will never have another cat. I lost my best friend. I’m heart broken. Devastated. Riddled with guilt that I didn’t take her to a private vet. I finally did take her to a private vet to have her put to sleep. I’ve had to go back on to antidepressants. Don’t don’t don’t use the PDSA! Go private please
