“Amazing coffee I had the caramel macchiato and it was delicious. Great service and amazing staff I was served by Mohi Mark and Shaina and they were very friendly attentive and approachable.”

“After I have had several (42 count boxes of Peets Coffee) I grabbed a cup of coffee and wanted to read the reviews as I was just curious to see if other coffee drinkers have had the same experience as I have. I will admit I am shocked to see so many negative comments. I have enjoyed coffer for over 50 years now, and I have tried them all. My experience with Peets is one of total satisfaction. I choose Major Dickson's (pods). Reminds me of a cup of Cuban coffee I would get when I am in the Keys. It's bold yet smooth flavors are enjoyable anytime of day with no bitter aftertaste. Just a great cup of coffee every time I really enjoy Major Dickson's coffee with cigars! The combination between the two really enhances the flavors together. Yes, I can (and do) have a Bourbon with my cigars but given a choice I grab a cup of Peets and sit down to enjoy! On those occasions where I run out of my coffee, my wife will kindly pick a different band up for me. I typically go thru 2-3 cups and realize that for me coffee is a luxury. A way to relax, so I make my own coffee run. There are so many different coffee company's out there to choose from, but for my money I choose Major Dickson's to enjoy every time. For those who's experience was less favorable, try Peets again. However, this time try to find a quite place to relax, pour yourself a cup and see if you don't appreciate the flavor profile Peets has to offer. Well worth another try! “The decaf dark roast- Major Dickason's Blend is the best decaf I've found. There is no 'decaf aftertaste' that many others have. It's just really good coffee. I'm drinking decaf due to health issues and now I can have great coffee again!”

“So many bad reviews…. I always ignored Pete’s coffee in the supermarket, because it was a smaller bag and it was more expensive. Then it went on sale, and I tried it. Such a pleasure, it’s a notch above with a richer, full bodied flavor. So apparently, it’s more expensive for a reason. A lot of those reviews have nothing to actually do about the coffee, and they are valid reasons to make decisions in life. But if it’s taste and taste alone, Peet ’s wins.”

“I'm not a fan of the known filter type coffee in America but Peets coffee was amazing when I tried it. So much so our next day plans were adapted to start with Peets. Staff are great and they also offer a selection of muffins, savouries and other things to start you out. Give it a try.”

“Petes is a business that represents what Berkeley is. A was introduced to Alfred back in the 1960s and he would be so proud of how Petes has evolved. A few weeks ago I was please to see a homeless man, with his bike outside of Petes. I gave him $25.00 an moved on with my coffee--a few days later not he was there but one of Petes tables and 4 chairs and had a pile of of a persons tattered belongings and another poor homeless soul. Sitting down. Another was sitting at another table, all had cups for money. I got my coffee and gave $20 to each of them, $60 well spent. I am so proud of Petes to give these poor souls a place to stay--to call home. Down around my business I have many homeless souls--I gave a four a $20 Petes card and directions to another business that cares, Petes. I am proud of Petes--keep up the good work. We all must be ready to take care of scores more in the near future. Petes is great. It shows what we are really all about. Ralph”

“A recent early flight out of Reagan National Airport left us looking for a source for breakfast. We usually would have gravitated to Starbucks, but the line was too long. Finally near our gate we came upon a Peet’s Coffee and stopped there. The Peet’s breakfast sandwiches we got far exceeded the taste and quality we‘ve ever had at Starbuck’s!!”

“I'm not sure where all the negative reviews are coming from. I have been a subscriber for about a year and never had a late delivery. I’ve also never had a problem postponing the delivery for a month or bringing in the delivery date. Plus, I love the coffee (my current go-to is Garuda Blend). In spite of all the negative reviews I still recommend Peet’s to my friends”

“I had never ordered from Peets Coffee before...I ordered Chocolate , Carmel Frappuccino.....it was the BEST Frappe I have ever drank!!! I have ordered from every major place that make Frappuccinos and Peets is by far number one!! The Coffee ☕️ flavor is heavenly ...just what you want to drink in the morning 🌄!! I highly recommend this place!!”

“Everytime I walk in the shop, I'm always greeted with a smile, which makes me happy. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm. Their coffee selection is great, and they have a lot more than Starbucks. There's usually only 1 person working there, and usually during lunchtime there's a string of customers coming in, so the time you have to wait to receive what you ordered may increase. But there's no reason to be rude about it. Amid the crisis that we are in this year with the virus, they are thankfully still open, but they do close at 3 pm now until further notice and they can only do carry-out. I'm just grateful they are still open. I am in love with their Iced Lavender Tea Latte, and it helps to calm me down, plus it just tastes so good.”
