The helpful reception team creates a welcoming atmosphere (no mean achievement considering not every patient is patient!) and the nurses and HCAs are both caring and efficient.
With long term ailments the doctor you see will book your next appointment to ensure continuity of practice. Using the 24 hour automated telephone booking service may mean you don’t always see the doctor you want. But I’ve never found it a problem since all the doctors really do listen and discuss your treatment with you. This will not always be in the form of a prescription but could be practical advice or, reassuringly, a rapid referral to a specialist.
Throughout there’s a balanced blend of care, compassion and professionalism. Such a state of affairs doesn’t just happen – so all credit to the management for fostering it.”
