Over ten days later we are still waiting for our refund of the booking fee which it is stated we are entitled to.

If I could get a refund I would! The house had numerous faults and the customer care team are dreadful, rude and incompetent.

They couldn't tell us how much they would cost but said they would be put onto our final bill?! I immediately told them we were not interested in using them and I wanted a refund for the money I have paid less than 12 hours ago after being told there would be no extra costs.

We cancelled the reservation and the sales advisor told us head office sort the refund, we received a confirmation email that we would be refunded £250 but no indication of how or when this would be refunded.

4) When I have requested for a full refund of the reservation which has paid - £500 no response for calls and emails for few hours – stating we are busy in back to back meetings, we’ve started you refund request for £250 which may take up to 4weeks, but have canceled the property due to the permission homes can’t provide any upgrades/finishing touches to the property.

We were eventually refunded £250 from the £500 reservation fee in February 2020 after many phone calls, however we believe that we should have been refunded the remaining £250 as we had the reservation cancelled on us by Persimmons opposed to us changing our minds and cancelling on our own free will.

They dropped us at the last minute leaving us to pay nearly the whole solicitors bill and won't even refund the add ons for the house we are no longer getting although they are not fitted just to spite me and my wife for complaining, really nasty people to deal with, it's so hard to save to get a house as it is and then you have these clowns costing me money that I need for a house, it's going to set me back years please just avoid this company they just waste your time and money and not to add the grief they cause you for months before dropping you in the frying pan.
