“The RR Vogue is quite complicated and I feel that possibly more time should be spent on the handover. I am an engineer having no problem in digesting the Handbook and since this is my fourth Range Rover I felt very much at ease during the test drive, this could have influenced the handover and the sales person I was involved with certainly emphasised their desire to deal with any queries I might have.”

“applied for car finance on a black bmw one series on Friday 27th of May, to be told this particular car was 'reserved' for us, when applying we were asked for our household income (I was applying as a single person as my partners credit is bad) on Sunday 29th of May we were informed that the car had been accepted with a guarantor which my father agreed to be. on Monday the 30th of May I was told I would need to take in 3 bank statements from the last 3 months, and 1 pay slip. I was also informed the company had asked for a high deposit but I would NOT have to pay anywhere this as Peter Vardy were going to cover part of it. I was also told that the car repayments were £250 per month (which we were happy with). I was told that by 10am on Tuesday morning I would get a phone call to inform me what paper work to take with me , also to confirm the car as the registration they gave us was actually for a silver car when we were buying a black one.... So by 4pm that day - nothing. I called up and got told i would be called back within 5 minutes , again nothing. The next time I called back I asked to speak with a manager, who was just as much help as the first guy. I explained the situation and he informed me that unless I came up with £1000 deposit , £270 per month and proof that I earn over £1000 per month, I was not getting the car (the wrong car might I add as they had actually SOLD the black car that was RESERVED for us). I work part time and do not earn £1000 per month , which the salesman knew because we discussed that it would be based on my partners earnings , which was agreed to because I only work 2 days per week. The manager then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and that basically they do not work this way, when infact when I bought my last car with them I was not working at all due to being pregnant and it was based on my partner income yet again.”
“One of the worst dealerships i have ever had dealings with do not seem to give a hoot for customer satisfaction,every year i have one of our cars serviced same old problem with not up datind warranty 3 years now also never ring back about other cr with a problem seems like they are not interested .”

“I went to 'have a look' at cars on a Wednesday, and to enquire about how I could trade my vehicle in and obtain finance on another. I was introduced to Chris, who was so friendly and made myself and my 3 girls feel very welcome. Whilst Chris was taking my details, Daniel was straight on the computer to see if he could come up with a vehicle that suited our needs and requirements. Within half an hour he did just that, and we arranged to pick up the car the following Tuesday. In the next few days, Chris kept in touch regarding the finance which was agreed on the Saturday. My car was ready and waiting to collect on the day and time he said it would be. There were a couple of minor issues that needed dealt with but Chris was straight into it. I found him to be really professional and very honest. I would definitely recommend Peter Barry and definitely recommend that people speak to Chris. Thankyou for a good car buying experience.”
“The vehicle was not ready for me to collect at the time I was given, so they salesman had to deliver it himself. When buying an approved vehicle, I expect it to be spotless but the engine compartment was filthy. The salesman apologised and had it cleaned. He also said that the vehicle did not carry a spare wheel, but it actually has one. As a result, when the chap came to fit the towbar he had been given the wrong information and hence had the wrong towbar with him. These things aside, all was OK.”
“My sales man Gary Herbert I was dissapointed when I first met him but he soon put it right looked hard to find a car for myself that I was looking for and even went all the way to dalgety bay to pick the car up and take it back to Aberdeen then the next day deliver it to me himself not often you go to a garage to get this kind of 5* treatment

“False information given by Sales representative, he did not bother to respond when I emailed/called to speak with him on numerous occasions to get a status update on my vehicle. Had to contact the managing partner of the branch to log a complaint. Garage were late in paying off existing finance agreement and then to add insult to injury, called me 2 weeks after I collected my new car, the branch called me asking if I wanted to renew my old car, the staff member was not aware it had been in the ownership of the Peter Vardy for the last 2 weeks - unbelievable!”

Something I just don't do unless I want to buy, came back to the Motherwell garage, sat down with Johnathon to talk figures only to find it had been sold!! Felt so dumped.
