“With older customers allow a longer time. We are not so quick on the uptake as we get older and want value for money ! Also we are more likely to pay up front as we are not so comfortable with big debts so build in good deals for cash buyers as well as those on credit arrangements!”

Hadleigh was brilliant, friendly and very clear on advice and what I required.
In fact everybody was very friendly and made it a great experience.
Though monthly payments were a wee bit more than I was expecting I was giving a full tank of fuel to compensate...
One wee minor complaint and it maybe because of the finance company, Black Horse, I have since found out that I have a mileage limit on the car.... Though I was asked my annual mileage, I cant recall being made aware of a limit on the mileage being part of the finance.

“I had visited many car showrooms and every time I went into one I experienced the hard sell, their staff would jump on me before I had a chance to look around. With Peter Vardy I could walk around and see cars for myself without being hassled in any way but also noticed that staff were on hand should I need them. I then found a car that I liked and approached Emily who was very pleasant, informative and as far as I was concerned gave me the best deal possible. A few days later was the handover and the car was immaculate. I was shown in detail the controls and had any questions I had answered promptly. I would highly recommend Peter Vardy in Motherwell and some of my immediate family will be using them too in the not too distant future.”

“Really disappointing and angry with the service received from Peter Vardy Edinburgh, bought a very expensive car. I am a disabled women when i took my car in for a trade in I asked if they could exchange my pedal adaption from my old car to the new car, which they agreed they could do for me, I took my car in on Thursday, on arriving at the site my old car was taken away to swap over the adaption no one asked me what as involved or came and asked me where my pedal needed to b positioned, felt like rushing for me to sign the paper work to ensure sale completed before month end(so sales rep received commission in month wages) when i went to get into the car after them telling me car ready to go , went to car and my adaption pedal would not fit they needed to try and to sort came back after 2hours , by this time i had been in the garage from 9:45am this was now nearly 4:00pm Pedal still not correct , was asked to take for a test drive felt uncomfortable and unsafe was told by mechanic if not happy to bring back to get fixed on the Monday which i booked in (later found out when i went back on the Monday car wasn't even booked in) I had to drive home this very expensive car feeling unsafe and shaken to the core during Edinburgh rush hour not an experience I would like to anyone to go through. And to make matters worse all i kept getting told was well it was done for free, NO IT WAS PART OF THE DEAL WHEN PURCHASING THE CAR!!! No Regard for my safety or well-being Nearly crashed the car only after one day ending up taking the car to my local garage who were saints and repaired the COCK UP peter Vardy caused All they cared about was the signature on the dotted line- It nearly cost me a new car and my health, Please do not go near this Garage if you value your life”

car has however had to go bk in at just over 2 weeks after with faults.
this maybe could have been avoided if someone had taken the car for a drive prior to me getting it.
breaks are squeeking and grinding and the windscreen wash smells foul.”
