Picked up car at Perth on the 18/5/2018 registration MT12 FQJ (Vauxhall insignia) drove back to Edinburgh got an Code 3 (engine coolant level low) bought coolant and had to top up now getting Code 82 (change engine oil soon) every time I start the car and have had another Code 3 which I again topped up, when I enquired regarding this car was told it had a full service history which I have not received and don't even have the service book - was also told I would get 3 months warranty with the car and I have had not had any information regarding this. If car was serviced before I got it how is it getting the 2 error codes ? and how am I meant to know what was completed at the service without being given any information. Emailed your head office and no one has got back to me since Friday regarding this. Keith Reilly

Salesman was extremely helpful during the entire process, but a couple of mishaps outwith his control made the experience less than perfect. The first car I put a deposit down on was advertised on your website as a 1.4L engine, however when I tried to take out insurance it turned out to be a 1.2L, despite the advertisement. The second experience was when I went to test drive the car I eventually purchased. Due to problems with the external transport company, the car had not arrived by the expected time and I had to travel back the next day again to view it. As I said these experiences were outwith the control of the local store, however this reflects poorly on Peter Vardy as a company overall.

I was happy at how easy the sale went through ...but I was especially happy with the way Jack our salesman dealt with us ..he was courteous and polite ..very easy going which made us feel at ease the whole time ...by the time we left with the car I felt like we were friends ....when it comes time to changing car again I'll especially look out and ask for Jack

I was very happy with the service I received when purchasing my new car, Finn was the star of the show and a pleasure to deal with, in a competitive market it’s guys like him that really seal the deal. Thanks Finn, hope to deal with you again next time.

Considering I have just bought a brand new Grandland and the car has been in twice with noisy brakes and the problem is still there, I am not happy

Getting the car was fine. In fact it was good. The salesman explained the full mechanics of the car before I drove off and took the time to make sure I under stood everything.
