“Visited Peter Vardy Jaguar Aberdeen with a view to buying a new car but were made to feel very unwelcome before we had even stepped inside. The sales manager (?) was standing guard outside and blocked our path to the door before we even got to it. After he demanded to know what we wanted and I explained we were looking for an XF sportbrake, he did deign to let us in and frostily direct us to a salesman (who was fine). However since they have just stopped making the sportbrake and they had zero second hand stock of any sort it was all rather wasted. It is pretty good going to alienate one's customers before they have even got inside the showroom! The whole place seemed exceptionally snobby, cold and hostile. Maybe because we weren't wearing business suits?”
“Absolutely terrible experience and still it has not been rectified at my now considerable expense. Since I paid for the car I've been ignored. Problems haven't been sorted even though Shaun mcgarva said they were. Car description - lies. Promises to sort it - lies.
How dare I think a 3 year old Astra described on the video as excellent condition shouldn't be covered in chips and scratches or have an oil and water leak.
About to take legal advice on the matter.”
“The handover was poorly organised, with confusion over the time of my appointment, and an initial unwillingness of staff to admit that there had been a problem. I felt I had been treated with considerable discourtesy. However the subsequent action of the sales manager in offering me suitable recompense more than compensated for the discourtesy involved and I am grateful to him for his determination to make full amends for the error.
Entirely satisfied with the vehicle itself.”
“your sale people were very nice . the only thing that they couldn't do was set up my phone to work in the car, can someone at Hillington do that for me.”
“We had just left another garage as the salesman didn't know what,"we just want to have a look", meant and wouldn't leave us alone. No hassling from salesmen when we arrived at Peter Vardy.”
