“Had to wait around half an hour to get car as they were still servicing it then going for petrol, found out the wheels are on wrong as tyre pressure monitor shows that when I pump up the back tyre the pressure goes in on the front on monitor, have to take back at y expense which is a 100 mile round trip.”

“I booked to test drive the car after seeing it on the internet. I received different phone calls the following day from different people regarding the correct and the incorrect vehicle. The video was sent for the incorrect vehicle. I called to confirm the test drive would be for the correct car and left a message - no return of call so I turned up at the garage and they were at least expecting me. I test drove the car and I liked it, I agreed to pay for it and return 2 days later to collect it. On collection there was a warning light appearing that had not been there when I test drove it. No-one was available to fix it so I had to take the car and then leave work early the next day to return it to be looked at. It then needed a sensor replacing so I agreed to bring it in the following Wednesday, my next day off, for it to be replaced. I had to drive my nice new car with a warning light on, not the best start in building confidence in a vehicle. My husband then dropped off my car key on the Wednesday for me and it took 20 minutes of people faffing about before they found out it had been booked in for the work to be done. I then collected the car on Wednesday afternoon, almost a week after collecting it. Not the experience we had previously with Peter Vardy and certainly not one I would recommend for others.”
“I had an appointment to view a car at seafield in Edinburgh. It turned out that car had been sold which I wasn't informed about. I viewed a car on line which I paid a deposit on and was told the car would arrive in two days, I contacted the branch four days later and was informed the car had just arrived. I went down to view the car which was filthy inside and out. When I picked the car up this was also late due to a replacement light panel en route,which didn't arrive. I still have not had the part replaced and had to contact the branch again today. And I don't really have much faith in this replacement part actually arriving. Overall I am pretty disappointed with my Peter Vardy experience in Edinburgh.”
“If it wasn't for the salesman - Kelson Holmes, I probably wouldn't have bought my car. I had intended on looking elsewhere for prices as well as Peter Vardy, but Kelson was extremely helpful but not at all pushy. He took time to explain different options to us and nothing was too much bother for him. A very nice guy! Peter Vardy is lucky to have employees like this.”
