“Everything went wrong! My GP surgery has also suggested to find another provider as they are aware of issues with other patients!
This service is atrocious! Some staff are helpful I have been told “I will keep Ame eye on your prescription, yes I agree you should have your prescription delivered with all of your medication delivered. No you shouldn’t have your medication withers if they don’t have one of your medications in stock”.
So when it happens next month and you receive text “we only have this brand in stock!” I reply “I have already stated ask my GP not me as sometimes the GP does not want you to change brands and you yourselves have agreed with me on this and said you would ask my GP.”
I now receive pretentious emails as if I am being awkward stating they have sent me the medication brand that no I have not concented to, my GP not contacted as “this is the only one in stock!
I am then told nobody is going to keep an eye on my prescriptions (as promised as the have x amount of patients! The email reads as if it is my fault! I am being a difficult patient with nobody else having issues only me!!!
They also raised that I had had issues with another well known company who recently had to change their name! Who also are equally an atrocious service. So 🤔 hmmm my fault again!
This company is a joke! If they don’t have a medication they will also withhold the rest of your medications, even though they don’t know when they will be getting the medications in! How dumb is this when you are in life saving medication!
Also their excuse…again it’s my fault. “The GP only prescribes 4 medications on a prescription. Oh but you send me a box of 12 medications so how is this my fault????
Avoid this company”
“Have since also found an article where The Care Quality Commission (CQC) found Pharmacy2U to be UNSAFE and INEFFECTIVE.....! Link as below :
https://www.digitalhealth.net/2017/07/pharmacy2u-found-unsafe-and-ineffective-by-cqc/”
“TERRIBLE! 1st order (for a repeat prescription was fine); 2nd order was a disaster; I had to add items which I discovered to be INCORRECT on receipt of email from them, confirming my order. Rang them up; the telephone responder was unable to pronounce my name, unable to read with accuracy, the medication names and dosage adviced, and even took him three times to read out my telephone number back accurately!! Another colleague then came on line - was not able to speak to a "supervisor" .... She was rude, dismissive and flatly refused to admit that their system had messed up. Cancelled my account with them immediately and resorted back to my nominated pharmacy with my GP services. My GP surgery also confirmed that they have had a lot of complaints regarding Pharmacy2U, causing the surgery many problems .... AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!! :-((”
“Ordering was a nightmare waiting a month for medication because of damage Leaving them without life dependency medication without any care they should not be allowed to offer this service it is a total disgrace”
“I find they are good at delivering regular prescription but useless if you require a change in medication or urgent prescription. One urgent for antibiotics took 6 days and another for breathing problem 5 days.”
“I requested some ointment from P2U as I could not get an appointment with the GP. This was standard stuff that could have been purchased from a chemist, had I not been shielding, but I was attracted by P2U quick delivery promise.
Big mistake. Huge. I order it on Tuesday. They kept bombarding me with silly questions; had I used it before, when was the last time I used it, did I know how to use it? By the time I had answered all of these questions 24 hrs had passed. So much for next day delivery.
If you need to ask additional questions please do so in the original order form. It would save a hell of a lot of time. Won’t be using you again, too unreliable.”
“Pharmacy2U cancels prescription without consulting you or your doctor, they do not ring back when they say they will, they do not own up when they have made a mistake, therefore will not be corrected properly as they have done nothing wrong, you have to ring many times to sort out a problem which they have caused, need I go on, guess its time for me to go elsewhere”
“Do not use!
I am still waiting for my tablets.
I am told they have been delivered.
They have not. I have been to the post office to see to see if they had them
So I am going online to buy them.
When were they delivered and where Our post lady always takes a picture on her phone.”
“This has been one of the most difficult repeat prescriptions I have ever tried to get, the service and response time is truly awful. DO NOT use this company.”
“I received a note on their headed paper 20 days after sending my documents to them by special delivery saying they couldn’t process my private prescription. I rang up, after 20 mins on hold was told someone would look into it. No one called me back so I had to chase it and was told they never received my prescription. So they’d lost my prescription and letter, didn’t tell me for 3 weeks, left me without vital thyroid medication going into a bank holiday weekend - then denied it happened and left me in the lurch. I forwarded them proof that the pharmacy had signed for the receipt of the prescription yet they still refuse to admit what happened or return my prescription. When they did process prescriptions correctly it took 3 weeks to ship to me and they frequently made mistakes in the processing that I had to chase for. Thankfully, I’ve found a smaller and much more efficient pharmacy with decent customer service so I never have to deal with Pharmacy2U again. I don’t know why I put up with this for so long. They jeopardised my health. Don’t use them, there are much better pharmacies out there.”
“Failure to deliver medication. Failure to inform me of missing medication. Failure to communicate correct information when asked. With holding medication when one item was not in stock.”
“Started setting up my account, didn't order prescription with them. P2U however asked for my repeat prescription from my local medical unit. Prescription issued to P2U who have no record of receiving it. So apparently nobody has my prescription! Contacted P2U by email to get them to look into this, had two very different responses but neither followed up on the promised action. 20min wait to talk to a human on the phone despite my call being important to them. Avoid.”
“I would suggest sticking with your local pharmacy, this company have no respect for their customers, I would give them 2 out of 10. They show scant regard if an item is out of stock, you have to chase it up if it is and their response to emails I found to be totally bizarre.”
“This service (if you can call it that) is absolutely diabolical.
I have run out of medication, it's going to take another week to arrive and when (after an extremely long wait) I got through to customer services they told me repeatedly this was my fault as apparently I can't count to 10 and they need 10 working days to process a request. Of course I knew that and had planned accordingly but they didn't want to hear that.
The advisor continually talked over me, didn't listen to my problem and didn't resolve my issue.
When I said to close my account she refused to do that also.
The moment my prescription arrives I will be closing my account.”
“I signed up with P2U to avoid travelling to my pharmacy during covid. Had a bacterial infection and as many have stated here medicines did not arrive on time so had to buy it elsewhere. I wanted to return the medication and visited their website to see return policy which said unopened and unused medicines can be returned to the address on return label. I opened the outer covering to look for return label but couldn’t find any. Contacted customer service only to be told that once outer packaging is opened it cannot be returned. They don’t mention that anywhere on the package or website but customer service claims that it is written on the package. I guess they earn millions of pounds just by delaying the parcel then not allowing return. Anyway cancelled my account with them never am I going to give them my money.”
“Great customer service, if you follow their advice and order your medication 14 days in advance they do all the work. Delivered to my door with no hassle and completely free.”
