I’m a lowly shop welder who has never had any reason to need a welding umbrella or any other rig accessories but as it pertains to their hoods, their welding beanies, and the clear lenses they sell (all the PL’s C products I’ve personally used) I’m sure all the stuff I haven’t messed with is phenomenal. All my hoods are sugar scoops so I’m gonna cop me a jolly rancher and see how that does me. All around one of the most trustworthy companies I’ve found, unlikely to buy a hood from anyone else until I decide to go auto darkening.”

“Best hood in the game. Hood matched with a Lincoln auto darkening lense weighs less than a can of soda. Just over 11 oz. Yes that includes the head gear. Absolutely staggering. I was on the search for lightest hood on the market due to neck and shoulder issues from my other hood that weighed almost 3 pounds! I can't believe I went 5 years with that weight on my neck daily. No help on shipping costs so don't waste your time. Nothing they can do. Ups problem. Date is a estimate only. We understand, UPS usually does a great job of delivering our packages in a timely manner, but with your package, there was a delay of one business day as updated on the UPS website. We are at the mercy of our shipping carriers and are unable to manage shipping events like delays(many delays are subject to weather, trucks breaking down, etc). In regard to shipping rates provided by UPS on the website, the costs are based on the overall size and weight of the package, the umbrellas are very large and heavy. Your package was ordered after 2 pm central time and was shipped out the following day right away and had 1 day delay as posted by UPS. “First off the helmet is amazing! My only complaint is that I cannot find the exact replacement for the headgear or the lens spring retainer and the flash barrier. They have the plastic options, but I like the spring steel that the helmet comes with. Most info on hood head gear and hardware would be nice.”
