“I bought one for myself and my brother. It’s a very cool idea but even with the Xbox hard lined and good WiFi it still has quite a drag when I’m playing games. I really want to like it but it makes it hard to play games away from home. I would probably not recommend it. But cool idea”

“Great controller and high quality product. Definitely compares to the quality of a Nintendo Switch, but the iPhone/Backbone version which is great for playing certain mobile games, or in my case Playstation Remote Play on a mobile device. The software also really adds something to the controller functionality that really makes it "feel" like you're using a portable console. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the device and think very highly of it. While I understand the decision, not being able to use an iPhone case with the device would be the most minor convenience issue if you have a case that's not very easy to get on/off since it's an extra step that a lot of people will run into when using this device, but it's a minor complaint to a generally great product.”

“Been using this for Apple Arcade and Steam Link for when I want to play away from the desk. Honestly it's been the best controller you can get for mobile! It has a great build quality, the passthrough charging AND separate headphone jack is very welcome. The buttons feel good, the D-Pad especially. I think my only complaint is that as an aging gamer it is a bit small in my hands and after a long day of also using the computer the small size still causes hand strain. I get how that is just me though and I would still very much recommend it to anyone thinking about playing some real games on your phone!”

“Everything is Great with this controller virtually no lag my only request for the next backbone would be for the grips to be a little thicker so that it feels like you’re holding a gun or something like the Xbox or PlayStation controller and maybe with a little rubber grip on it other than that it’s great”
