“Beyond expectations! Backbone is showing what the future of mobile gaming will be like. And it looks amazing, creating a console-type atmosphere with the controller and app, they really nailed the feeling of making it feel like I am playing a handheld console. I would recommend this to any type of gamer, wether you own a console or play casual games, this is a must own. Thanks, Michael”

“Works awesome just like you think it would. I feel like the joysticks are closer to a nintendo switch than a standard controller however. If you arent a fan of that, might not like it. My RIGHT TRIGGER also has an annoying click, the replacement i received also has the click while the left does not. This is only an issue when not using headphones or trying to play in bed with a sleeping wife. Customer service however was awesome in resolving the issue with me. Since iphone 13 came out my 13 pro no longer fits in the backbone. Had to pay $5 shipping for a piece of plastic but it fits better now. I would still await a revision if you want this for your phone with the giant camera bump.”

“Backbone is one of the best products I've purchased in a long time. With Cloud gaming coming into its own, this is the time to get on board. The controls are really great. I love the layout, and often play games remotely with the Backbone when the games are on my TV or monitor. It is that good. I also think you can get into gaming without buying an Xbox or PC. Just buy the cloud pass, and use your phone with the Backbone. My wife also loves it because she doesn't have to watch me sawing zombies in half while she folds clothes.”

“The interface is good. The controller is good. The fit on my iPhone 13 pro max is terrible even with the adapter. I hope to see a new version on the back bone that fits my phone. Adjustable claps for different case sizes would also be great because some cases are a hassle to take off.”

“Great for what it offers, the company putting out an iphone 13 adaptor and only charging for shipping was a great move many iPhone accessory makers would never do for their customers. I only wish now that they would offer a pro model. Xbox Cloud gaming offers games like Halo Infinite and I find the thin and short grips to be a little small to play anything competitive. The device would certainly lose some of it's small portability if the grips had large curbed backs and under grip trigger for back buttons but it would be a great option for many of us such as myself to be able to play competitive games on the couch.”

“Still early days but I've been extremely impressed by the Backbone One on my iPhone, PS5 Remote Play has worked well and XCloud streaming has been exceptional! Eager to try it out with some phone games that aren't reliant on a strong WiFi signal and speed.”

“I love the product only thing I didn’t like is that I had to get an adapter for iPhone 13 Pro Max and the adapter doesn’t stay in play wish it did thou also everything else is perfect on this controller couldn’t ask for a better controller anywhere that’s compatible with the iPhones please make a permanent adjustment or make another controller separately for the iPhone 13 Pro Max please”

“I hate to give this controller a 2 star, because I actually really like it. But there is one big design flaw. It doesn’t allow for a case. Even a very slim case. It’s annoying to have to remove it every time to play a game. And when traveling I really don’t want to take the case off my $1000 phone. The only other thing I’ve noticed is that the button clicks are a bit loud. Other than that I do like the controller. However, given the issues, I would return it if I could.”
