“Would have gave it a four but wish That all of gta’s were included with Xbox cloud gaming to be able to play on iPhone other then that everything is good”

“Love it. It works beautifully. The reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is that when I want to use it I have to remove my protective case for my phone. I know for certain reasons you made it that way. But if you find a way to be able to use it with certain cases or make a case specifically to work with your controller would be amazing. Also, if you could make one to fit an iPad mini. The bigger screen would make it more enjoyable to play as a handheld.”

“If I am not wrong, it shows one year free service if sign up during my first use the adaptor. I just want to consider and setup later, and then free service period is 3 months only now. So I loss 9 months service I should have and be steal?”

“Well I bought A Backbone for my iPhone 13 Pro Max and it worked perfect but then I got a iPhone 14 Pro and my Backbone don’t work with it…Am so mad and disappointed and I would like my refund back.!!!!..”

“This was a waste of money for me. The controller doesn’t easily attach to my IPhone and the buttons are in an awkward position when trying to play a game. Not my best purchase.”

“I tried Backbone to increase my game play and free up screen space. This is by far the best controller for phones. Also the added touch of supplying the updated adapter for the new releases iphone 13 & 14 is just awesome. Would recommend!!”

“Backbone itself is great…got a new phone and it didn’t fit. The adapter they sent (for free) is trash. Doesn’t even hold the phone in place. Disappointed, and won’t be using mine any longer.”

“Purchased as a gift. Excited that the adapter is in the box with the iphone versions but can also be added separately for free. The adapter is the only way the iPhone 13 will fit and it works well. Easy to use and a quick snap in process. Lots of games available.”

“I initially had problems getting my hands on one of these. I was visiting the USA and decided to be clever and order it for while I was there. For whatever reason the product never got shipped, so we were off to a rocky start! However... On return to the Uk, I was able to source one from a local supplier. And I have to say, wow. The experience is seamless. Plug the phone in and away I go. The app store/console app is fluid, responsive and just works. The button to take you there and back just works. I'm not any kind of expert gamer. I have an Xbox controller at home. This feels similar, is comfortable and I haven't noticed any kind of issues. The games play well. Thumbsticks and buttons behave as I would expect. Because I have a phone contract with a 5g provider that allows me to use unlimited data because I buy my Xbox unlimited through them, I can game on the go, at better speeds than my home broadband. I am definitely a happy boy with this. Highly recommend.”

“I play mostly on a PS5 console and the PS backbone controller is truly a great little gadget for airplaying some of my favorite ps games while the TV is in use by my wife. Also found some great games on Apple Arcade that works lovely with the controller. Highly recommend it. I’ve yet to try out shooter games.”

“The controller is perfect and works flawlessly. I use the device regularly and haven't noticed any wear. The one gripe I have is this: To use the controller with any other device such as PC you need to have the premium Backbone app subscription. Why oh why is the functionality locked behind a pay wall? The other features of the app make sense to charge for however I don't agree with limiting the use of the controller to just the iPhone. Make this right!!!!!!”

“The backbone hardware is amazing easily the best controller on the market. Super comfortable, high quality triggers and buttons, very sturdy and durable both the actual controller itself and the hinge that keeps your phone on it. Never felt like it was gonna break if I accidently extended it too far. The Backbone app is incredible. Perfect UI design that is literally console quality, I was actually shocked on how good it is, responsiveness, ui layout, ease of access, sound design, even the social features. It's above and beyond what you'd expect. The only problem with this is the $40 a year membership for the app. I understand these things cost money but it's not fair to expect $40 a yr for this when PSN/XBL gives you WAY more value for $60. You don't need this to play online, nor are you getting any free games. As cool as the app is, there's nothing it can offer to justify that price tag. I would literally rather pay $100 for a lifetime access then $40 a year. This doesn't need a subscription service. The social aspect is so niche and gimmicky that it doesn't add to the value, although it's nice to have, if it was a FREE service this would benefit so much more. Would I recommend? Hell yes this is THE definitive controller. The only thing keeping it back is the yearly subscription that is unnecessary. Add a lifetime option and I'm in. It just doesn't feel like it's worth a subscription, but it's definitely too good of a service to be completely free.”
