“I purchased3 I’m using my 2nd one. First one the controller went out. The 2nd 1 stopped working no connection, it says it’s connected but it’s not . The controls only see the phones.”

“The Backbone One is a really nice controller for my Android phone. I've played Retroarch games with it and Steam Play with it not missing a beat. Feels good to hold and is pretty light given the small size. It is a little cumbersome to get the phone in/out of the controller but isn't a huge issue. While my phone didn't have this concern (a Galaxy S9), a friend with a newer Pixel phone had a little difficulty with the camera bump. Your mileage may vary depending on the camera but it looks like they did a decent job trying to support many phones. I had no interest in the Backbone Android app though and doesn't seem to be required, with just losing the functionality of two of the buttons by not having it (a screenshot button and a button to open the app). Looking forward to using it on future long-distance flights!”

“Works awesome, but would love for it to have an option for either Bluetooth, or be slightly wider so I don't have to remove my case for each use.”

“I like the controller. Wish there were more "full version" of games and I really most of all want them to make a Playstation edition for android. That would be alot better.”

“Overall it works well. I just don't like how my phone fits (Pixel 6 Pro). I worry that the port might be getting bent. Would be good to be able to adjust the backing part in and out.”

“Good afternoon, My order was mess up from the start. No communication on cancel order. Then I had to wait to received the order. They came one at a time. Both on my purchase were Christmas present. I like the device. Customer service or warehouse needed to do a better job. On inventory and orders.”

“Very good controller, feels very premium when compared to the Razer Kishi V1. Love the pass-through charging and audio jack. The app is great, although it would be nice if GeForce Now games were added. I was told by a Backbone rep on Reddit that this is being considered for the future, so hopefully that comes at some point soon.”

“As a gamer this is a product that I've wanted to try for a long time but they didn't have the android edition. Typically I use my PS4 controller to play games on my phone. C.O.D. Need For Speed and others. And while it worked I was always struggling to find a way to mount my phone to view and play comfortably. With the BACKBONE for android I'm covered. The controls are responsive and ergonomically sound. It feels good in my hands, and doesn't need to be charged. Love it! If there was anything I could or would change would be a more pronounced bumper buttons. L1 L2 R1 R2 could be a little more firm. But so far I'm in love and hope it's not just last. Looking forward to the next evolution of the BACKBONE platform. Thanks.”

“Work fine, but remote play with ps4 doesn’t work. Plus it says you can play your games on it, but that’s not the case. Good for on-the-go, just log in to your screen name on the games that have made a new game or screen name. Overall nice concept.”

“I like it, I have only had it for a few days so time will really tell. The biggest issue I have with it is that it seems like my phone isn't fully secure in it and I can't have my case on. I understand that the PlayStation edition is just for iOS but if you are going to make that why not make it for both iOS and Android at the same time.”

“Overall it's a good remote control and it does what it promises to turn the phone into a game console but you have to pay for the app that only has a few games and I couldn't get any Xbox or PlayStation membership promotion along with it. my control”
