“Iris plants arrived green and vigorous! Good cutting sections of tubers with roots! Very clean - no contamination wth duckweed or anything else! Hot weather delayed the shipment which was okay because it gave me more time to work on the pond. I had drained the pond for cleaning to eliminate duckweed and replanted a new iris bed with a new retaining wall after the old iris bed had been damaged by raccoons!”

“PIK has been a great source for excellent pond supplies. I’ve had a pond for 24 years and used $1000’s of supplies to keep it looking and operating properly. My best products come from PIK. Shipping costs are my only issue. I’m a PRIME member and I have bought pond items there but I like the PIK products best!”

“I have been PlayItKoi's customer for over three years. I stumbled onto their website accidentally and was impressed by the selection of brands and great prices. At the time, I was only digging my pond but I had an eye for a GC Tek AlphaNano filter assembly. Fast forward to the present day, I ordered the filter, the PerformancePro Artesian2 High Flow Pump, and a bunch of other stuff. The delivery of all items was fast and the products arrived safe and sound. Upon installation, all components functioned great. This is when I would probably stop and recommend this online store to everyone who is on the market for any pond components. However, it is not the end of the story. I had to replace a 2" pipe outgoing from the pump to the filter from schedule 40 to 80 due to high-pressure concerns. After that, in about a week or two the pump started to have trouble priming itself after an overnight shutdown. No leaks in any union couplings were detected by me as well as all check valves were clean from debris. In my quest to figure out what was going on, I wrote to PlayItKoi. I got a quick response from Ben within a couple of hours with a list of suggestions on how to troubleshoot air leaks in my system. My problem was resolved! I am very grateful to PlayItKoi for having my back not only at the time of making orders but what is more important for offering help when it is most needed. So fret not, Ben and his company will take care of you at all steps in between and after.”

“Before my (very positive) review, a suggestion: my main reasoning for choosing Play it Koi was your availability of many US native plants, which is so important for building backyard ecosystems. It would be amazing (and I think good for business) if you could clearly label on your webstore which species are US natives, and even provide a separate menu section for them. There's a huge native plant movement and you guys are primed to cater to it. Every single plant I ordered (18 in total, 9 species) was large and healthy, and packaged very well. The Mimulus even arrived with blooms! Ben was extremely helpful with getting my order shipped asap when we were facing a tough situation between brutally hot weather and travel plans - truly top notch customer service. I have already reccommended Play it Koi to many others in my personal circle and online. The one con I would mention is that some plants (specifically the Lizard's Tail) were in pots with roots growing through, so I had to painstakingly use a box cutter to free them with minimal damage. It was evidence of strong plants so I was happy, and I saved the damaged roots to hopefully propogate, but if you can find a way to grow them without the pots (or advertise as potted, rather than bare root) that would be great. Can't wait to order from you guys again. Thank you Ben, Kelly, and the rest of the Play it Koi team!”
