“I wish I stumbled upon Johnny Skagss review (found in these reviews) before trying to create an account with PlayerAuctions. On Jan. 25, I created an account and it was immediately locked. I was then prompted to send over my DL, a Photo of me and my DL, email, address, and cell phone all over conventional email. On Jan 26th I stupidly sent them this information and they came back a day later saying that I needed to send another of myself with the DL. Needless to say, this is shady business to ask for this kind of data when I've not even made a purchase or even used their features yet. After some research, the main headquarters for PlayerAuctions is in Shanghai China. Anybody who read the news or does a search of privacy data with China, knows your data can and will be used for data mining and for other possible scamming issues. There are no privacy protections in China! What a stupiddo I am! Do not give your personal information to PlayAuctions and do not hand over a photo of your DL!!!!”
“Player auctions charged payment to our card and did not provide the logins we purchased. Their customer service emailed and asked for photocopies of ID and credit cards even though the charge already cleared our account. They are claiming we need to provide copies of our ID to provide logins. Clearly this an identity fraud scam as they have already deducted funds from our account.”

Hi, so i'm going to go over this as thoroughly as I can.
Let me address the main issues; ID verification. First off, is it neccessary and does it actually do harm? Well to an extent perhaps, but ultimately no it isn't necessary. Why would it be necessary if most reputable companies are fine without identity verification? And, well, does it do harm? Well sure, it does. It definitely does do harm. For two main components.
First, when a business like this is demanding someone to express identification visually, they're employing the idea that they should do this for other businesses. Which leaves bogus businesses as the real attackers. Ones that use this data to sell. It is also simply malpractice as Playerauctions could be selling our data without our knowing. There is simply no protection for your data when you are sending it via E-mail.
And the bigger issue.....If their systems were to be hijacked, which happens commonly among businesses, the attacker now has access to every single person's identification. Even if they delete it, they can download these photos remotely in real time, as they actively have access to their computers. This is the dark side, I suggest you research businesses being hijacked over the internet. Their system's might as well already be hijacked. A person can install a rootkit remotely with simply a link being opened. To their IP being remotely viewed. To, well, a plethora of methods. It is in fact, not hard to hijack someone's devices.
Now, let's address the quality of this verification process. Which is to say, no quality. At all. I sent them the pictures of my identification, credit card - and bank statements. All of them were picture perfect. I could read them clearly and they were very detailed --- each and every time. But they told me to send it again, so I did. And then they told me to send it yet again. . . . so I did. And then, yet again they tell me to send it again, therefore I do. Regardless of me knowing this verification process is bogus on terms of security.
It's virtually impossible to get these people to complete your purchase. THEY WILL NOT LET YOU COMPLETE YOUR PURCHASE, I REPEAT, THEY WILL NOT COMPLETE YOUR PURCHASE; MOST LIKELY.
I encourage you to look at other people's reviews on this issue thoroughly. I would say it's a hassle to purchase, but that's just it. It's not really a hassle, it was impossible.”

I bought an account, they gave me an email with it, I couldnt change the account email for 3 months, it was in a process of email change. I thought it was ok. Now the support staff are just totally ignoring me to 3 days and nothing has to be the worst experience ever, not I am left at my favorite time to play the game with all my stuff gone.

The seller marked the items as delivered without delivering the items. The seller has literally confirmed in chat that they did not deliver the items and committed fraud. No assistance, no care, nothing, Playerauctions support couldn't care any less. I was skeptical about ordering here and apparently for good reason. Today my account was suspended for no reason ( because i deliver account, buyer changes password and blame me that i scammed him and you believe it ) Support don’t answer to get my money from sold offers and still processing money for withdrawing! SCAMMERS!!! RUN FAR AWAY (Read other bad reviews)
*I will keep updating this review, read other reviews as they are caught in several lies and respond very nasty to that as well* Very dangerous place to spend your money. Just look at the other bad reviews and their rude and disrespectful responses. They are only nice to you if you leave a good (fake) review. If you criticize them, which we have the right to do, they get snarky and disrespectful like they do on Zendesk. Very unprofessional and rude. They don't care and will steal your money. They started ignoring my tickets and WHEN I CONTACTED THEM WITH A DIFFERENT EMAIL THEY PROMPTLY RESPONDED. SO NOW I HAVE PROOF THAT THEY ARE IGNORING ME!! I have been scammed several times here. This time PA has gone too far. I WAS SOLD A STOLEN GTA ACCOUNT BY THE USER Playgameskey THAT WAS RECLAIMED AND I HAD TO DISPUTE SEVERAL TIMES AND THEY REFUSE TO REFUND ME. I HAVE TO NOW GET MY BANK AND A LAWYER INVOLVED. When I complained the second time someone told me I should have turned on 2fa. First of all I did and I submitted proof of this. I shouldn't have to turn on 2fa if the account was legit. I know this because I've purchased accounts before I found PA and have never had a problem until I started using them. BTW if you've ever used R*/social club you know that they send you emails when your email address is changed I not only have proof of me claiming the account during purchased but proof that R* emailed me when the original owner claimed it back. This email displays the email that has been attached to the account once reclaimed I contacted this person and this is how I found out was stolen. I had already contacted the seller and he refused to respond to me when I asked him to contact R* to help me. As soon as I started the dispute he responds with the log in that he sold me that does not work because he used it to sell a STOLEN ACCOUNT AND THE ORIGINAL OWNER CLAIMED IT BACK. COMPLETE TRASH. This place is a cesspool of scammers. You're better off going somewhere else like the brown magician or another trading website. You're better off using a mod menu. You'll be banned anyways if you use anything from this site. And they better not respond to me with some BS about how I did not provide proof. Because I did many times and I would post the proof here if I could. But they know that you can't post photos here so they will try to intimidate you. Scroll through the bad reviews and see how they told one customer "feel free to prove it" Who does that??? These people are horrid.
UPDATE 1: Also see the one star complaint where they tell the person that their reviews are not fake because they require you to submit a order number. THIS IS A LIE AND A WAY TO DISCREDIT YOU. I have submitted this and I am still updating. I did this all without my order number!! SCAMMERS!!!

Update 3: look at their response. I just stated in my review that Trust pilot won't let you post links in the reviews. This is not a lie and can be proven by simply editing one of your own reviews/responses and trying to post a link. I know this because I tried. If I could post a link why wouldn't I do so? Don't be so obtuse as to why I said you were nasty to your customers and quoted proof. When it's right there for all to see. I can do what I want in my review! "I would like to see you prove it"? Unprofessional to the max. I SAID WHAT I SAID!
Update 4: So after I complain they finally respond to my ticket and say I have no substantial evidence. How is the emails from R*and convo with the original owner not substantial evidence. It's like they don't want to help me at all! Then claimed that I said the log in worked. That is not what I said. and I have video proof. Trying to misquote me to discredit my experience and keep my money. They ask for the video and bcz the password had a space in front it is not substantial. I provide the video without a space the log in wont work and now they are ignoring me again. Atp I will just be taking my money back since they refuse”
“Buyer/seller beware. Was selling my account on their site. Buyer disputed the account after receiving it. Then Player Auctions refunded buyer and my account was lost. They buyer changed the information and now has gotten away with the scam. Don't use this site if you want to sell your account. Only if you want to get a free one. Absolutely terrible experience.”
“ALL BUYERS PLEASE STAY AWAY. I purchased OSRS Ironman Account with insurance. Account was all good for 6 months until recently Seller decided to reclaim the account. I opened a dispute requesting PlayerAuction help to have me reclaim the account back. I provided all necessary information which had showed that the account was reclaimed by the seller. I had extremely hard password set on it along with Authentication. I tried to reclaim the account via Jagex with the 6 months of information which I had but my request kept getting denied. I asked the seller to assist but instead he accused me of being hacked or Hijacked. I have 3 other accounts as well and none of them were hijacked or hacked. Then the seller showed a picture which showed he had requested the account to be transferred back to my email and I did not receive any email to have the password changed or the email had been changed. The seller escalated the same day I opened the dispute without trying to assist me. Today PlayerAuction decided to have the claim in Sellers favor without trying to help getting me the account back or trying to resolve the issue which I had. I just lost the account and $730. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PLAYERAUCTION TO ANYONE AS THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE BUYERS. I have attached all picture which clearly shows the Seller and PlayerAuction had done absolutely nothing to assist me. At this moment I am out of the $730 and seller gets away with both my money and the account.
