“Purchased an OSRS account which was recovered within two weeks. Also purchased playerauctions insurance. Playerauctions do nothing to help you get a refund and protect scammers that sell on their website. I've tried for months, but to no avail. PlayerAuctions will scam you if you have an account recovered. I did not get a refund, despite giving all of the required evidence over to PlayerAuctions.”
“Simple to use and website layout lets you know everything you need to order your gold, from server to price and to user feedback.
Community is great and sellers talk professionally though understandably there are bad ones who do not understand good service.
Site does its security job well ensuring payments are inspected though I admit it can be off putting at first due to how strict it is. Overall I really liked it and I will be coming back.”
“Hello,
I hope this post helps you avoid the mistake I made. DO NOT under any circumstance share your ID with these horrible people. If you are reading through thinking... oh it won't happen to me. IT WILL. TRUST YOUR BETTER JUDGEMENT.
I shared my photo ID, credit card, and selfie holding the card to approve my purchase. Which in and of itself is F#CKING INSANE.
I left a watermark on the outskirts of the photo saying "Verification for Player Auctions Only." This did not cover any information on the ID or Credit Card I provided. IT COVERED NOT A SINGLE WORD, LETTER, OR NUMBER. Nor did I cover the ID in the selfie holding photo with any watermarks over any information.
Of course if you are wondering after reading all of the horror stories of people sharing their IDs and not getting verified. Guess what, I didn't get verified. This support agent "Maebelle" said:
"Thank you for contacting PlayerAuctions regarding your concern.
Please do not cover the details with watermarks.
If you have any additional questions, please reply to this email."
NOTHING of interest was covered via watermark. These mother f#ckers will do everything in their power to take your ID and not verify you.
I feel so horrible for sellers on this platform. If you want a LEGIT website go to G2G. Trust me, its way F#cking better.”
“Decided to try buying something a few days ago and it turned out great. I think what sets people off is the verification thing but this is actually already done by other sites. I think its to protect the payment by chargebacks (which you do by lying anyway). Got the purchase just finw and I think I'll be going back.”
“The site has great security in terms of checking users for valid payment and it actually waits for you to confirm the order. You get to check it out if its as described and thats always a good thing.
I would be careful with sellers with even just 1 bad feedback and so far those I talked to are nice and professional.”
“My transaction went well and the site doesnt seem that bad as long as you read the instructions and policy carefully. I got gold and didnt get any account which I think is risky anywhere anyway.”
“Just be weary of the seller, make sure they have a high rating and are activley being used or else it sketchy i've have multiple account i purchased from chicks and they are still going after 1 year +.”
“PLAYERAUCTIONS IS FOR SCAMMERS ONLY. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE
Playerauctions is a garbage site where scammers thrive. I bought an account on 8/13. It was recovered by the seller and password changed within 2 months. I reached out to playerauctions support and provided evidence the password was changed. They reached out to the seller who did not respond. Even though it was clear I was scammed and they took 'necessary sanctions against the seller's account' they refuse to refund or make up for the seller scamming. DO NOT USE THIS SITE AND GET SCAMMED”
“This company seems to be super sus with their process of securing the payment! Like who asks for someone to send a pic of themselves, a pic of themselves with their ID, the card that was used for this purchase picture and a bank statement. I went back and forth with their support about this as they report that it is to protect them from fraudulent buyers and I was suspicious of them being fraudulent so I canceled this order. Thankfully it did not go further than that. Google pay or PayPal should be good. I have been shopping for a long time and through this pandemic, I shopped all over online and no place has ever went through all of this for a payment! I am 100% convinced that this company is a scam without a doubt. Watch out and beware!”
“We bought a Fortnite character from a seller account called Chicks. The character we bought was suspended by Fortnite within 24 hours. Chicks refused to refund us or give us a replacement. We lost all of our money and my son was devastated. I will never use PlayerAuctions or Chicks again.”
“Scammers! They will allow you to register on their site, let you selling and then ban you when you have money on the web and you can't do anything because user agreenment allows them to do it. ( Binding no explanation needed and it's legal ) There's basically nothing you can do against it”
“Tons of verification steps and private information needs to be sent for small purchase amounts
Above 10 dollars or somewhere close that, normal payments via google pay or credit cards needs a ton of verification which should not be nedeed and does not make a user feel secure. I dont find it necessery for a website wanting all the following for such small purchases:
+ A clear and colored photo of your government-issued photo ID
+ A clear photo of you or a "Selfie" while holding your ID beside you
+ A photo of the front of the card used for this transaction
+ A screenshot of your payment receipt. To get this, log in to your Online Banking...”
“Scammers! They will allow you to register on their site, and then immediately ban you (i.e. steal your personal data and sell it)
In their minds, people only use VPN because they want to scam someone, not for privacy reasons.
Bunch of unprofessional clowns...”
“bought a wow account, played it during the night and woke up to the account and email to the account both had invalid passwords. and the same seller snekz has the same account for sale as im typing this.”
“Asked for photos of my entire life story to prove it was me, I comply. They then block every single transaction I make from every card I try to purchase with. There is NO customer support. It sends you to a forum that tells you to buy and pay with CRYPTO. Absolute joke. 0/5.”
“i found a valorant account with rgx blade and many other skins,
If you play Valorant Or CS:GO u know what skins are theyre very expensive
but i saw this guy selling an account with 205 euros worth of skins for only 50$
at first it is really sketchy and things but like the thing said u can verify if the account actually has the skins u saw on the sellers attached pictures, I didnt expect the website to actually scam me, im 14 and i know that u can buy things on the internet while being a minor but my uncle is 45 years old so its not only me who is trying to buy the account i also have an adult helping me i also had his permission to use his card but this "Danna" guy banned me cuz yeah im 14 and yes i know but like going back i have a 45 year old guy helping me so instead of banning me they can just ask me if they can talk to my uncle instead of banning me, i also know what im doing cuz ive been with my laptop for 2 years (since march 2020) basically im a matured 14 year old i dont know if my 50 (+3.17$) will be refunded or not :(
good thing i didnt buy the 200$ one i dont know how im gonna tell my uncle that his 50$ wont be refunded if it doesnt get refunded :( this website has to be taken down
The 5 star reviews are probably bots if u see someone selling an account with 5 stars the worst part is i sent the card details (only last 4 digit on the numbers) my uncle's drivers license and my uncle's name i just hope he doesnt get hacked or something PLS DONT BUY ON THIS SERVER I DONT WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO LOSE MONEY CAUSE I KNOW THEYRE WORKING HARD FOR IT.”
