Q. Pod star - Any recommended tips for emptying, cleaning or maintenance?”

Tips for emptying, cleaning and maintenance:
1. Use a knife to run around the inside of the used pod to easily get the coffee grinds out.
2. Rinse the remaining grinds from the pod and leave to dry or dry with a tea towel if you want to use again right away. Used coffee can be put in your garden, or compost.
3. The machine needs to be maintained with descaling every few months but the Pod Star capsules don't require any maintenance. They can be placed in the dishwasher for a thorough clean every week or so, and to keep the life of the o-ring long, take that off before placing the pod and lid in the dishwasher.
