“I bought a 10-pack of the Caffitaly pods for my Dad for Father's Day. My folks are avid recyclers and were pulling the previously used plastic pods apart. They were separating the coffee grinds for their compost bin, and the soft plastic was being collected for Redcyle but this was a very cumbersome and time-consuming process.
Dad is extremely happy with his gift and even happier that he is contributing to saving the planet with no hard plastic pods to dispose of. The stainless steel pods are extremely well engineered and will no doubt outlive all of us! Dad even rushed out to buy a second coffee machine so that he can continue to use his pods if his current machine expires. My Mum is even happier that the plastic pods are no longer taking over the house. I have since bought some Podstar pods for myself for my Nespresso machine.

“Can’t fault the design or the concept, considering I go through about 10 pods a day even the family pack will pay itself off in no time. Best bit is you can use your own coffee, even Lavazza grinds in the steel pods are better than their own pods and way cheaper. 1 short and 1 long shot is normally fine and not too watery. Keep in mind a normal espresso shot is about 4 pods.”
“I bought pods a few years ago and lost patience with them ., luckily I decided to give them another try .. I have several Nespresso machines ( I know 🤣)and have figured out how to fill and tamp them to the desired strength.. as a double shot espresso person these give me the desired strength for my taste !! Even my worm farm is happier !”
“My Podstar coffee grinder is well engineered; the parts fit very snugly together. The handle won't come off while you're grinding, even standing up, but is conveniently readily removable when you've finished. It's a nice big handle so you can get plenty of purchase while grinding. Easy to adjust the grade of the grinding mechanism too. The base which the grinds fall into fits very snugly with the mechanism, but is also smoothly removable. It's working well for me.”
