“I feel so much more comfortable about using Podstar than I did even when I was purchasing degradable pods. The pods are easily cleaned and the used grounds are going straight into the compost bucket.
I'm struggling a little to find coffee that's strong enough though, and note the suggestion on the pamphlet that I might need to use 2 pods. I think that means I need to order more or my husband misses out!”

Until recently I had not been aware of recyclable pods. Not only do the pods mean less waste going to landfill, they are also ideal for my situation where we have a pod machine to take camping. My issue was sourcing decaf capsules, only ever available online & the last time I ordered 10 packs they were all within a month of their best by date. I was unimpressed by that & by the response from the supplier. Reusable pods were the solution I was seeking.
Having received my Podstar capsules a few weeks ago, I am very impressed. I loved the minimal cardboard packaging & the thoughtful sample packet of coffee grinds. The pods themselves are a beautiful piece of engineering, are of excellent quality & will last forever.
Communication with the team at Podstar is very professional & prompt. I had a few issues with my somewhat older machine initially, but a few emails with Mark, sorted my problems & I now have perfect coffee every time.
It was a no brainer to purchase 2 Barista packs to give as Christmas gifts for family members who were equally impressed. I am happy to recommend Podstar & their brilliant reusable pods & accessories which are available for numerous coffee machine brands. Keep up the good work.”
“Really cute set. The tamper is very heavy and solid and does a good job. The pods are the perfect fit. It has taken me a while to get the right levels of grind, fullness and tamping pressure so it does take practice. Since lockdown I have calculated I have had over 1000 pods so I am relieved to have purchased this product to save waste.”
“I hesitated to shift to reusable pods. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how easy (and satisfying) I’m finding using podstar pods and I actually prefer the taste. Feels so good not to be adding to landfill. I ended up buying a ten pack so we can keep a ready filled supply at hand, although I also found it simple enough to fill a pod when desired. I plan to keep buying podstar coffee as I like the taste - depending on shipping costs.”
“Really like the PodStar. It has a much better design than the pods Amazon is selling for Verismo / KFee machines. I also really was pleasantly surprised to get a sample of stone ground coffee with the pods. This was GREAT because I was able to quickly identify the proper setting on my ceramic burr grinder. Now I am getting a proper balanced pour with excellent flavor. If you live in the U.S., it will take a few weeks to arrive so plan for that. Our USPS service has really slowed down in the last year or so so the delivery is not likely to be a swift one. This is not under control of PodStar so I gave them the full 5 stars as I am really happy to be able to stop tossing pods and I can get better bean blends now, Fantastic!”
