“This is the only food that Pip will eat, she’s a very fussy dog but loves the meatballs cooked in the oven. Once had a slight issue with a delivery, rang up the helpline and the service was excellent and got sorted very quickly.”

“Very pleased we came across this dog food because Molly our 9 yr old bichon was always leaving her food . Now for the past week since she started on poppies picnic we havent thrown any food in the bin. She has it cooked as she seems to prefer her food warm. She seems to want more food than I give her so have increased it a bit. Will keep an eye on her weight though.”

“My dog has always been a fussy eater but not anymore! He loves his Poppy’s Picnic , especially the meat balls and gets excited the moment I take them out of the freezer! Great service and prompt delivery too .”

“My one year old chihuahua was a super fussy eater and after hearing great reviews about poppy’s picnic I decided to order some power balls. Safe to say after a week he is still loving every meal and it’s no longer a challenge to make him eat! Highly recommend”

“My two boys seem to like it. Especially when cooked. Their poos are solid snd they hover when I stick it in the pan to cook, so must smell nice. Add a bit of carrot and biscuit and they eat it. Long term? We shall see.”

“I’m Reggie a 2 year old frenchie and very f with my food. My mummy tried all sorts to no avail then she heard of Poppy’s Picnic. We ordered 8 mighty mince packs just as a taster and I love it. I’ve woofed my dinner down every day. My mummy is so proud of me and i’d recommend it to all my fur friends for sure. Had another delivery today so can’t wait for my dinner tomorrow.”

“Bertie did not like the food, it arrived brown on the top and red in the middle he has vomited a couple of times since trying a bit, whether dit was the food or just a stomach upset that I don’t know.”

Hi Michelle & Bertie Thank you for the review - We're sorry to hear that Bertie has been unwell - we hope that Bertie is feeling better now When you contacted us you didn't mention that Bertie had an upset tummy... We may have been able to help with a feeding plan or help with the transition from dry to raw. The discolouration in our meat is completely normal. We don't use nitrogen in our packs of mince. This means that once the mince is exposed to air the colour can change. Our ingredients can make the meat appear to have a slight tinge. This is due to the green cabbage, kelp, parsley and spirulina.
