“Happy that my dog has finally found a food that she will eat! She loves the cookable raw! Just disappointed that the food was delayed by a day and seemed to be majority defrosted. However, will continue to use :)”

Hi Kerry We're glad to hear that your dog has found a food she enjoys eating. The cookable raw is a genius creation and great for a fresh , natural and complete cookable raw dog food. We understand your disappointment with regards regards your late delivery. Thankfully , DPD are the best couriers and this doesn't happen very often. “Easy to serve. My cat had no problem switching to the meatballs. Appreciate the efforts to protect the environment by having a recycling scheme. Would be appreciated if the bone fragments can be reduced. Some bones haven't been finely ground and the bone pieces contained in the meatballs are relatively more than those found in other brands.”

Our returns scheme for the polystyrene and boxes means that you you earn paw points too - you can redeem against any order. “My dog enjoys the food. The only downside of this is food is the way it is packed - only two ice packs so the food started defrosting by the time it got to me.”

“Tiny is fussy and at first wouldn't eat it raw, however when cooked she liked it. I have only tried her with two types but am going to try her with more .”

“My Welsh Terrier Rupert has beenn having the raw beef for some time now and just loves it, I would certainly recommend it. The customer service is very good also , I had an issue which was dealt promtly and tomy satisfaction.”

“My cat is enjoying the raw food, but I am introducing it slowly into his diet. The parcel arrived on time and the food had kept cold during transit. The packaging return scheme is a good idea and I will do this. But I wonder if the plastic trays the food balls are in could be made smaller?”

“My two are raw fed but they don't do veggies etc. I thought I'd give this ago with the power balls. They are reluctantly eating it so still early days. The food looks great it's my two that are the problem.”

“My 2 Dogs love the power balls . Arrived quickly Not keen on the cardboard sleeve … as the food defrosts the sleeve becomes wet and sticks to the sideboard or fridge shelf and a job getting it off Can we have something other than plastic ?”

“Both dogs love eating poppys picnics, I buy the power balls and the power mince as my toy poodle gets a bit fussy and likes it cooked now and then, they did not like to new beef power balls and I found them to be a bit greasy when cooked, would have given 5 stars if the beef recipe had not changed. Overall a very good dog food and even better now I can buy it in Asda, a bonus”

Hi Thank you for the wonderful 4* and your feedback. We're pleased to see that you are enjoying the convenience of the Power Balls. They are so quick and simple to feed. Thank you for your thoughts on out packaging. We use recycled polystyrene packaging as we have tested many alternative packaging ( from wool to paper-filled liners and even biodegradable mushroom fungus)Currently, polystyrene is the only solution that works and during high summer we add extra cooling aids like dry ice or gel packs. “My fussy dog loved 3 out of 4 flavours tried. I love that we can cook the food. One of the deciding factors in giving this a try. We will continue with poppy's picnic for a while longer to see how it goes. 4 starts for the quality of the food and attention to the envirinmental impact of the packaging, 5 stars when an alternative to the polystyrene insulation and plastic film lids (I love that you are open with this and that you are looking at alternatives/accepts the polystyrene back though!). Do give Poppy's picnic a go”

“The food is great of the highest quality and the digs love it. Customer service and delivery are allways brilliant and I have absolute faith that the complete meals are all nutritionally balanced.the only reason I gave 4 rather than 6 stars is because of the packaging, it may be eco friendly but is not really suitable for raw dog food, it's too flimsy and when defrosted often leaks leaving a bloody puddle in my fridge.”
