The newest version in just bought have the adder weights out farther than the handle making it feel really unbalanced for many exercises (curls, side lateral raises, etc). Knurled handle feels good to me but have had many people say they think they are too thick. 20% restocking fee.

The flexibility and durability of the PowerBlock is great. I have owned my pair for about twenty-plus years. I ordered a new set of pins, which was the first replacement I've ever needed.

Single best customer service experience I've ever had. I ran into an issue where the expansion kit I bought by mistake for my EXP broke because it wasn't the right fit, and Ashley from Powerblock's customer service team replaced my entire expansion set with the appropriate set, rather than only replacing my broken mismatched plate. The dumbbells themselves are excellent, but the customer service from Powerblock is above and beyond anything else in the industry.

Knurls for PRO set was easy to install in a matter of minutes and works well, definitely mimics a true gym feel.

It would be better if I got my second order at all. The first time I ordered, I was sent ones that didn't fit, although I'm sure I selected the correct dumbbell type.

It shipped and arrived promptly with clear communication. The product came as described, and I was able to start using it right away without any hassle. I’m very satisfied with the PowerBlock dumbbells.

Recently purchased some Powerblock Pros with knurled grips. I had pondered getting a set of the Pro 50 Exp, but while I waited Powerblock changed the set to 40s, with knurled grips. I wanted the grips, but now had to add an expansion set to get the 50 and 60 pounds. So far it seems like a quality set. No major issues. Minor issues: it's a little cumbersome to change weights in 5 lb increments. You have to take the set down to the handles, flip a tab, remove the cylinders, then restack the handles and select your new weight. Also, only one real comfortable way to grip the dumbells so it limits some exercises you might normally do with dumbells. From the looks of it they should last quite awhile.

American manufacturing at its finest. Add the knurl handle was a game changer. Still the best adjustable dumbells on the planet.

Love my Powerblock Pro Exp. I just recently purchased 2 kettlebell handles. This setup also so many options in a small space and quick changes. I have always liked working out but Powerblocks have really increased the fun! Thanks for making such a sturdy and compact product.

I have thought about getting these dumbbells (Pro 50) for years and finally decided to do it. I first saw them on the Fitness Blender website; Kelly and Daniel use them and have always said good things about them. I have no regrets. They were a little awkward at first, but after a few workouts with them, I got used to them fairly quickly. I love that they can rapidly switch between various weights; it helps when I am trying to keep up with my online trainer. And, they save space in my living room! I am trying to move up in the amount of weight I lift and did not want a bunch of dumbbells taking up space. 5 stars!

I ordered the Elite USA 90 power block. I actually already owned a pair of these that I’ve had for many many years! And it was simply time to get a new set! I really enjoy using the ones with the straight handle. I have two other types of power blocks that have the different handle types and the straight handle is my favorite and most comfortable so I’m glad that you guys still are making this type!

The quality and ease is unmatched. The naming conventions and the explicit explanation of the various stages is unclear and hard to navigate on their website.

Love my powerblock pro exp. Just bought the stage 2 expansion and had a bit of a mixup when I received another dumbbell by mistake. Customer service resolved the situation quickly and reasonably. Hope to train hard enough to justify buying stage 3 as well!

I love the utility of PowerBlocks. Their space-saving design and cost-per-pound value are both fantastic. I am on my second set. Years ago I had a set of PowerBlock Sport 9.0 dumbbells with up to 90 lbs per hand. They were great, but a bit noisy. Sold those and got the PowerBlock Pro set with urethane-coated plates. I like these better. For pressing and pulling exercises (bench press, rows, etc), it's hard to notice a difference between these and traditional dumbbells. For rotational exercises (curls, lateral lifts, etc.) with the adder weights in, the feel is a little off, a little harder, as the additional weight is further from your elbow, changing the rotational mass distribution. Not a deal-breaker, but different, and may result in needing to step down your weight lifted by 5 lbs. Some exercises are downright difficult (goblet squats, tricep extensions) due to difficulty gripping a single block with two hands. For that reason, I bought the PowerBlock Curl Bar, which has worked great. The only other item to note is that the weight adjustment slider works great on flat, hard, surfaces. If you set the block on a padded bench, yoga mat, etc. the groves may not align properly and it takes some finesse to get the sidebar into place. Again, not a deal-breaker, but something to note.

I purchased my original PowerBlocks in 2011 while serving in the military. Drug them all over the country without an issue. Retired and still using them today in my home gym. Finally bent a pin and ordered a replacement. The one sent didn’t work (newer model), but customer service helped me and got me the correct pin free of charge. Couldn’t ask for better service. Told my sons they might not inherit money, but they can look forward to getting my PowerBlocks when I’m gone.

The durability and ease of adjustment make the power block a great addition to my home gym. I’ve also started a small work gym for myself and coworkers using the Powerblock 24 lbs and adjustable kettlebell. Great for small spaces!

The best purchase I made for my garage gym. I have been using them everyday for two years and they still look and feel like new.
