“Shipping is quoted as 3-5 days. That means I should get it within 5 days. Just received dispatch notification on day 5 so tracking shows I won't receive order until after the weekend, 7 working days after the order and 9 days in total. Not good enough compared to other suppliers. Won't be using the site again.”

Hi, there are unfortunately limitations on the free delivery service yes for hazardous and heavy items. The cost of shipping is clearly shown at checkout and we would advise that the total is always checked before hitting the submit button to avoid any surprises.

“Not sure why the SPPT1 was £20 cheaper through Building Supplies direct than Power tools direct. Arrived damaged, in an intact box, with the rear grill pressed against the cooling fan preventing rotation but removing the case and pushing the case straight before replacing it made the pump work. Great pump. Using it to circulate pool water through a homemade solar heater. Works very well. It very quiet and powerful. Delivery was very prompt.”

“I unfortunately had the tool supplied by Power Tool Direct (PTD) fail on me within a couple of hours of receiving it. PTD gave me a no quibble full refund along with postage. Very impressive”
