Dear Mr Fleming Thank you for responding to our request for feedback, I can confirm that you are correct in your review as the order has only now been completed and is shipping out this afternoon. The timeline of 7 days before we ship, without contacting you is completely unacceptable and our mistake. I would first like to apologise for the lack of professional service when handling your business we had a stock shortage on your Round Top Bag and for some reason, the replacement stock took longer to arrive than anticipated. We took our eye off the ball and missed contacting you about the delay, at this time I am not sure why but will discuss this with the guys on Monday. I have requested that our credit control department refund the carriage charge plus instigate a monetary adjustment acknowledging the inconvenience caused by our oversite. Again thanks for taking the time to tell us of your frustration, I know it does not look it from your side but we are normally very much better than this Regards Lumsden Director Power Tools UK

Dear Mr Murphy Thanks for taking the time to get in touch through our review system to complain about the level of service received from us last week. Following receipt of your comments, I have taken time to investigate this matter allowing us to learn from any mistakes made. As stated you placed your order for a Makita Fan plus Battery/Charger Pack on the 17th of August, as you are aware we contacted you twice concerning clarification of card details due to the type of card you used for the transaction Following confirmation of the information requested we shipped your complete order out on Friday the 19th of August for delivery on Monday 22nd. Should you wish to cross-check we clearly show next to the product buy button that we request 3 to 4 working days to deliver, we delivered in 3 working days on this occasion. Even taking into account that we had to e-mail you on two occasions concerning card security we still delivered within the window stated, had we had no hold-up you would have received your goods on Friday instead of the Monday We take financial security for both customers and ourselves seriously, we will not compromise on this system and if there is a slight hold-up awaiting clarification we will then do all we can to hold delivery schedules. Although we request 3 to 4 working days our average delivery time from the customer placing their order through to final delivery is around 42hrs. Comments that you will not use us again due to your interest in the delivery before the financial security implications of purchasing online are disappointing in 2022 Regards Lumsden Stuart Director Power Tools UK
