“Emma was my tutor. I really liked how she was nice and treated everyone with a nice tone and voice. It can get overwhelming teaching that many students for 6 hours and Emma always kept a smile in her face and never stopped to smile. However, I do feel like she goes off track once in a while and talks too much. By this I mean that when we are given time to do a question and answer the poll, she reads the question and sometimes starts giving us hints or answering questions so, personally, I couldn't concentrate on the question so I had to mute it. I would like for her to let us read the question on our own and do the question alone with silence and then after the given amount of time, she can answer questions and explain the questions we were given.”

“Emma was a very fun tutor over the long 6 hr/day weekend review. She made the course enjoyable to go through and gave great feedback and insight on how to answer the questions. I take my SAT in March, but on the practice tests, I have improved by around 140 points! She is great at explaining and going through the process for each question to understand it well. I honestly believe that these past 2 days made me really prepared for the March SAT.”

“I did the weekend SAT review with Emma and she did an amazing job connecting everyone in chat making the class feel more involved. We went over many tips and practice equations for both math and English. I like this course because my SAT is coming up very soon and I needed a quick weekend review.”

“This Weekend Review with Emma was incredible. She was very knowledgable and understood the SAT inside and out. She took us step by step for every type of question across the board and helped me reach a better understanding of how to approach the questions during the SAT. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to strongly improve on their SAT skills.”

“Emma was totally great- I was really intimidated by the 3hour sessions, but honestly she made it very engaging and worth my time. “My instructor's name is Taylor Trautwein. I was able to improve my SAT math score up to a 750 and am just 2-3 questions away from getting a 800 on the math module everytime(my score on the math section was 680 when I took the March SAT in 2024). However, my reading score stayed the same for the most part. I really liked how the instructor was open to feedback and was constantly trying to find ways where she could lead the lesson in a way where we would be benefitted the most. She made sure that throughout the classes, she was making an active effort to make it seem like a comfortable environment so that we would be able to feel comfortable to speak our minds in the classes. About the course specifically, I liked how we were given a list of vocabulary that would show up on the SAT because for the reading and writing modules, it was really helpful to help me understand the overall message of a passage better. Also, I feel like the hard math quizes were extremely beneficial and that is what probably allowed me to have such a great improvement on the math module of the SAT. For every practice test and quiz we would take, we would have access to the answers and explanations to all of it too which I found to be extremely beneficial for me to understand the reasoning behind a correct answer. The checklists that are provided on the dashboard are also helpful at least for me because I felt like I was going to be more more prepared and it allowed me to reduce test anxiety prior to taking the practice tests as well as during. I am expecting this to happen even during the day of the actual test because of how reassuring it is to have a checklist to make sure I am ready for the test.”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed this course. Taylor and Alex both did an amazing job explaining concepts and breaking down each problem. The amount of detail they went in to futhur explain each problem made it really easy for me to understand. I appreciated that not one student's questions were overlooked and were all answered in detail and with examples. I am someone who needs detailed instructions to understand a concept, so the extra explanation was very helpful for me. I also liked that they made the lessons fun with pop culture refernces and drawings to furthur explain concepts.”

“It was a pleasure to learn about the SAT and different strategies from Taylor Trautwein. I feel very grateful to have an instructor like her who interacts well with her students, cares about their success, and makes class time more engaging and fun to be a part of. Ms. Trautwein’s ability to break down big concepts and topics of the SAT was incredible which helped me find my strengths, help my weakness, stay focused and motivated throughout the course. She overall throughout the six week course gave support, help, and encouragement to all her students, especially when the class I was enrolled in had more students than she expected to have. She created a comfortable learning environment for everyone and made us feel happy and get a better understanding of how the SAT is going to work, certain study plans, and amazing strategies that work. Mr. Alex Yang was also part if this course who helped us whenever questions were asked and gave very helpful answers. Thanks to Ms. Trautwein, I feel confident in taking the real SAT and my score has improved on SAT practice exams. If there is anyone I know who needs any additional help with their SAT preparations, I would happily recommend PrepExpert and Taylor Trautwein to them for beneficial help!”

“My instructor's name is Taylor Trautwein, she did an amazing job teaching everyone the lessons and strategies for the SAT. I enjoyed the reading part the most, mainly because I've always struggled with answering questions regarding poetry. However, the strategies that were introduced to me should allow me to perform better on the SAT than I would in normal high school. I would defenetlly recomend this to some friends who I know are struggling in math.”

“Prep Expert was really helpful for me. My instructor, Taylor Trautwein was very helpful and calm throughout the 6 week course. She felt very chill and someone who I can relate to, which makes the course more enjoyable and better to understand. The material in the course showed me all the things that I was doing wrong previously during my SAT testing. General lessons especially were useful as they could be used outside of the SAT as well. However, I felt that there were too much of those general lessons and not enough of going over specific questions of the SAT.”

“Prep Experts really helped me in preparing for the SAT. I enjoyed every single class as my instructor (Taylor Trautwein) made every class interactive and explained all the math, reading, and writing strategies in a way that anyone could understand. I’ve seen improvements in my score as well as I reach consistent high 1400s and 1500s on my Prep Expert and Bluebook practice tests. The in-class questions challenged me and helped me understand the strategies that Taylor taught me. My instructor additionally explained the questions in a way that made it easy to understand and gave us tips on how to not get these types of questions wrong but referencing the strategies she had taught us before. Overall, I loved being in Prep Experts and it really helped me get ready for my March SAT next week.”

“My instructor was Taylor Trautwein. She was an amazing tutor who always interacted with the class and adressed every question. She is also very relatable and entertaining to listen to which makes the class even more interesting as she relates to us personally. Overall she is a great TA and I am glad I got the privelege to be tutored by her, Taylor made the classes more fun and interactive than any other tutors I have ever been with.”

“This course was incredibly helpful in teaching me SAT skills as well as increasing my score 200+ points in my practice tests. I found my instructor Taylor very helpful and relatable, she always responded to emails and was easy to understand throughout the course. The only thing I would have prefered is having more hard math topics taught/reviewed, because personally that is my biggest struggle and I found that was what we spent the least time on. Overall good course, but it is hard to recommend due to the price.”

“I really enjoyed the flagship 6 week course with Taylor Trautwein. These past six weeks really pushed me to study SAT and I learned a lot of very useful strategies to apply on the exam. Taylor and Alex were also incredibly nice, they reviewed every topic we went over and stopped to answer any questions. In the practice SATs, I scored a 1490 which is 130 points higher than my actual score which I am very happy about. I also feel the most prepared for any SAT by far out of the multiple other SATs I have taken. Overall, I liked the long tutor sessions, the great amount of resources and homework prep expert provided, and the availability of everything on the website.”

“I enjoyed this 6 week flagship course with miss Taylor trautwein. I liked how miss trautwein teaches she makes it easy to learn and explains everything when I ask questions. This course really helped me it improved my score by a lot. The practice test and practice questions were very helpful and really helped me improve my score. Alex was also very helpful he would provide links when I couldn’t find stuff and also helped out with the questions.”

“In summary, during my time in the Prep Expert class, my instructors, Taylor Trautwein and Alex Yang, both contributed significantly to my score improvement in regards to the SAT. The countless strategies that they taught us made my experience with the SAT so much better. Without these strategies, I wouldn't be where I am today in terms of success with the SAT. My instructor made the course so engaging, giving her own personal insights as well as how to apply the helpful strategies. I would highly recommend this experience to any future prospectors who are looking for SAT prep.”
