“My instructors were Miguel Chavira and Nirmal. I loved the schedule and the amount of homework, I felt like the course was organized very well with math on one day and reading and writing on the other. I liked that we had textbooks with notes that we could work along with as the class takes place. Compared to other attempts I have had on trying to improve my score on the SAT I loved that this course has an organized schedule with many strategies for every concept on the test. My highest SAT score before the course was 1450 but I feel confident that I can improve this score and hopefully get a score in the 1500s and prep expert and my teachers has made this possible for me. I had taken another SAT preparation course before Prep Expert and I did not feel as prepared for the test as I do now with this course, especially because there were not as many strategies and did not cover as many concepts as Prep Expert. Now that I have studied every question type in depth and know the strategies to answer them, I now feel very prepared and confident that I can improve my score.”

“My Instructor Lila Kolmagorov is very patient and explains math problems very understandably. My favorite thing about this course is that the homework really helps a lot, I personally understand math problems when I get to do them as practice or part of my homework. This course adds up my math skills and Language. Thank you so much!”

“I took the PrepExpert SAT course with Mr. Ilia Kolmagorov, and he was truly one of the best instructors I’ve had! He always started each class with breathing exercises, which helped everyone feel more focused and less stressed. His sense of humor and constant jokes made the sessions fun and engaging, even when we were covering difficult topics. Unlike other courses, he actually took the time to explain concepts thoroughly, making sure we fully understood instead of just memorizing tricks. His strategies and teaching style gave me a lot more confidence for the SAT, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an instructor who is both knowledgeable and supportive!”

“Ilia Kolmagorov was my instructor. I saw lots of improvements not only in my score but also in my focusing abilities after using his focus exercises and also in my high school math and english classes. I really enjoyed how kind he was and how helpful he was in answering all questions but also being funny and making jokes to keep us engaged and being just so encouraging. Overall this class was amazing and really helped to improve my score, which has gone up significantly on the practice tests, my reading comprehension, and my focus. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who asked.”

“The 8 week Capstone SAT Course with Mr. Miguel Chavira and Mr. Nirmal Karthik has provided me with a greeter understanding of the topics that I will be answering on the SAT. The lessons and practices we have done for the past weeks have helped me figure out what I need to work on. I have not currently taken the SAT but the practice test have made me feel prepared since my score is greater than the one I recieved on the PSAT. I like how the instructor explains the reading questions in great detail and presents other ways to solve the math questions. Overall I feel as though this course has greatly prepared me for the SAT.”

“My instructor was Ilia Kolmagorov and he was absolutely amazing. He was very engaging and captivating and was great at conveying the information. His tactics such as refocusing exercises, and using humor to help with memorization were very effective. So far my PSAT score has improved by 190 points with one more practice test to go. Aside from Mr. Kolmagorov’s own teaching methods, the content taught in the course was extremely helpful. There are numerous strategies that I have now fully adopted to my test taking skill set for the SAT or for other school tests. Strategies like BOSS (where you build your own solution to the problem), and types of words to look out for are incredibly useful. Additionally, the Hard Math Quizzes were very assistive in being ready for tricky questions and getting used to difficult math. I’m am definitely more of a math person so I really liked the math strategies but still am very grateful for the reading and writing one as well. The 50 different strategies we were taught helped me greatly improve my score for those sections. I would definitely say that this course is worth it and I am very thankful for the help it provided me.”

“My instructor Illia Kolmagorov was very helpful during this review class. His plans were well structured and never changed which helped me stay focused. I was able to go over the questions I was confused on while learning beneficial strategies. Illia also helped the class stay focused by doing breathing exercising which personally helped me with my own stress and anxiety.
