PrepExpert is a scam. The online teacher was monotone and not engaging with the students. He read from a book and seemed socially awkward on camera so much so that it made my daughter uncomfortable and not trustworthy that he knew what he was doing or talking about. My daughter didnt have any improvement on the ACT after the 6 week course, including all of the homework and tests that came with it. And their refund policy is a joke. Their "Senior Director of Customer Experience" , Ryan Quadro, talked down to me on the phone and seemed like he was reading from a script. Very impersonal and not who I would recommend to be the "Senior Director" of Customer Experience. This is a money hungry company and they dont care about the students. I highly recommend Princeton Review. My daughter did significantly better on her ACT after a 2 week online bootcamp. The instructor was engaging and made one-on-one time with each student. Princeton Review actually cares about the students and how they do. PREPEXPERT ONLY CARES ABOUT TAKING YOUR MONEY.

I was skeptic at first about taking this course but by the end, I was very confident in my skills. I took the 8 week SAT capstone course with Jacob Harrison and it was amazing. He was very chill and funny. He also had a lot of wisdom on college admissions, in general. I am so glad I took this class and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to improve their SAT score. Although I did take a couple of the practice tests that PrepExpert gave to me before the course, I still found most of the practice tests helpful. This class really helps you maintain your work ethic and teaches you new skills (and reviews old ones). I was somewhat easily able to obtain the $100 referral even though it was a lengthy process.

I was in the capstone class with Jacob Harrison as the instructor, he helped me a lot in all areas of the SAT. The class was smaller and any concerns or questions we had were answered. I would definitely recommend him as an instructor!

Daniel Lee was my instructor, and Marina Luo was my teaching assistant. They have both significantly increased my SAT score while making learning SAT strategies simple and enjoyable. They both took the time to answer our questions and demonstrate how to use strategies on actual SAT practice tests. I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone looking to significantly boost their scores.

I had Justin Loh for my instructor. A very knowledgeable and humorous instructor, he was able to make studying for the SAT very fun while still effectively showing me how to handle seemingly difficult questions very manageable. Last summer, I took the self guided SAT course from Prep Expert, but I wish that I took an instructed class instead. For as good as the self guided class is, having an instructor, a real person on the other end of the screen that can respond to questions, is indispensable. Although I have only done practice tests, I’ve seen real improvement.

Daniel Lee was my instructor and my TA was Lahari. He helped me understand difficult concepts easily and he taught strategies really well! Daniel also made class fun and interesting, and I can now approach questions a lot better than I did before class. I have learnt a lot from this course!

Over the past 6 weeks, Daniel Lee has been quite an amazing instructor. Not only is he skilled in multitasking by reading the chat and helping all of the needs of his students all at once, but he truly made each class exciting. I never would have thought that I would be sad to be done with a (six hour per week) 6 week SAT course, but I was proven wrong. With this course, I have improved significantly in my reading score, and a decent amount in my math score. The reading strategies provided by Daniel Lee are strategies that have truly helped me. In terms of math, while i do believe that this course does a great job with the strategies, much of the actual learning comes from the homework and reviewing your mistakes. With that being said, I do recommend Prep Expert, and you won't be disappointed if you join!

My teacher was Justin Loh. Despite my reluctance to spend my summer in this course, I have genuinely enjoyed it and will be forever grateful for the strategies taught. He went over every single concept and made sure we all understood. His happy attitude really helped me stay focused and encouraged me to push harder to improve my score. A huge thank you to Justin and Prep Expert.

I had Daniel Lee as my Instructor and Lahari as the TA. All I can say is he has definitely helped me with improving my SAT in all areas. He always tried to keep everyone involved and always had something funny to say. He really is just a great guy and is great at going in depth to explain his tips and tricks. The reason I give him five stars is because of how much he relates to us students, and he actually cares. He definitely has a passion to teach.

I had a class with Daniel Lee with Lahari as the T.A. It was a good class, and Daniel made studying for the SAT more enjoyable with his pop culture references and jokes. In addition to the Prep Expert strategies, Daniel had his own "Daniel Lee Strats", which were very helpful as well. I will say, the class did drag on a bit at times, but it's hard to fault him for that, since the class is three hours long.

With Daniel Lee as my instructor and Lahari as my TA I learned and enjoyed this course very much. They made this seemingly boring task of studying for the SAT so much fun and I feel I've learned the most I have in any class so far. My only critique would be to make the "notebooks" mandatory and maybe incorporate them into homework given they're the only way to really improve.

I had Daniel Lee and Lahari Ramini as my instructor and TA. His teaching style and his overall demeanor made "hacking" the SAT so much more enjoyable. His trademark "Daniel Lee Hacks" made my score boost. Thank you so much for all the help and I will definitely miss the sessions!
