“Prep Expert was incredibly helpful for my preparation of the SAT exam. My instructor, Emma Skyler, was very thorough in her explanations regarding not only WHY the right answer is correct, but HOW to reach the answer organically on the real test. While I was already scoring very high on the math section before Prep Expert, my average question answering speed greatly improved after gaining a better understanding of the more complex questions. The Reading and Writing sections have always been my weak points, but Emma showed us amazing strategies that I used in practice (such as BOSS, 7-Repetition, etc.) which greatly raised my score. This course most certainly had the biggest impact on my improvement. Thank you so much!”

“Emma was my tutor. I really liked how she was nice and treated everyone with a nice tone and voice. It can get overwhelming teaching that many students for 6 hours and Emma always kept a smile in her face and never stopped to smile. However, I do feel like she goes off track once in a while and talks too much. By this I mean that when we are given time to do a question and answer the poll, she reads the question and sometimes starts giving us hints or answering questions so, personally, I couldn't concentrate on the question so I had to mute it. I would like for her to let us read the question on our own and do the question alone with silence and then after the given amount of time, she can answer questions and explain the questions we were given.”

“My instructor's name is Taylor Trautwein. I was able to improve my SAT math score up to a 750 and am just 2-3 questions away from getting a 800 on the math module everytime(my score on the math section was 680 when I took the March SAT in 2024). However, my reading score stayed the same for the most part. I really liked how the instructor was open to feedback and was constantly trying to find ways where she could lead the lesson in a way where we would be benefitted the most. She made sure that throughout the classes, she was making an active effort to make it seem like a comfortable environment so that we would be able to feel comfortable to speak our minds in the classes. About the course specifically, I liked how we were given a list of vocabulary that would show up on the SAT because for the reading and writing modules, it was really helpful to help me understand the overall message of a passage better. Also, I feel like the hard math quizes were extremely beneficial and that is what probably allowed me to have such a great improvement on the math module of the SAT. For every practice test and quiz we would take, we would have access to the answers and explanations to all of it too which I found to be extremely beneficial for me to understand the reasoning behind a correct answer. The checklists that are provided on the dashboard are also helpful at least for me because I felt like I was going to be more more prepared and it allowed me to reduce test anxiety prior to taking the practice tests as well as during. I am expecting this to happen even during the day of the actual test because of how reassuring it is to have a checklist to make sure I am ready for the test.”

“This course was incredibly helpful in teaching me SAT skills as well as increasing my score 200+ points in my practice tests. I found my instructor Taylor very helpful and relatable, she always responded to emails and was easy to understand throughout the course. The only thing I would have prefered is having more hard math topics taught/reviewed, because personally that is my biggest struggle and I found that was what we spent the least time on. Overall good course, but it is hard to recommend due to the price.”

“My Instructor Lila Kolmagorov is very patient and explains math problems very understandably. My favorite thing about this course is that the homework really helps a lot, I personally understand math problems when I get to do them as practice or part of my homework. “My teachers were Mr. Miguel and Nirmal. I liked his tips and how he emphasized that we shouldn't assume in the reading section. I would say I improved so much in reading with those little tips. I value his comprise to our class and how he never gets tired of asking our questions. Even though he has already answered that question 100 times he will answer it again and with a good attitude. It is nice to see him as an example and how he shared with us that his initial score was a low one and his final score was a GREAT one. I want to be like that and I do see myself improving. Another thing that I also liked was his tips on mental health and the pressure that the test might cause. I always felt like it was a safe space with Mr. Miguel and believe me, I was never afraid of asking something. Even though I haven't taken my test yet I do feel like I am improving. For some practice tests I have taken my score has improved to 1410 and 1420. I know I am proud of myself for achieving this but I wouldn't have achieved this without Mr. Miguel. Thank you Mr. Miguel and thank you Prep Expert.”

“My teacher for the 6–week ACT course was Isabella Raicu and she gave us really great tips and personal experiences to help us find strategies to crack the ACT. I really liked the amount of practice tests and homework practices prep expert gave us because it gave me a chance to answer tons of real life ACT questions to prepare me in the best way for the actual exam. I also really found office hours really useful because I can ask individualized questions that we might have not have had enough time in class to go over. The video explanations for all of the practice test questions are also extremely helpful because I don’t have to wait until the next class to understand the topic and I hope we also get video explanations for the homework too.”

“My intructor, Miguel Chavira, was very helpful in learning and understanding the ACT strategies. My scores were above 30 on all the practice exams I've taken, and I've learned how to tackle the types of problems that I usually get wrong. “My instructors name was Dr. Shaan Patel before is SAT course I was an incoming sophomore not really knowing the value of SAT prep. Through his I learned the value of studying and preparing myself no matter how hard the prep is, now I’m better prepared going into my sophomore year and know how to make myself successful for the SAT.”
