“It's a decent product. The app is a problem. It measures Pdg inaccurately. It said I was positive when the test clearly showed a negative. I had to take 50 pics to get the app to accept it. I don't like the fact that I can't see previous tests and that I can't retake the picture if the app misreads the results. It gives the user little power.”

“I definitely have mixed feelings about these tests. Love the convenience of at home testing, however there are definitely some flaws. 1) taking a pic of your strip was extremely hard for me- the app kept rejecting my pics over and over, took an obscene amount of attempts almost every time. 2) the protocol for pdg increase was a little too rigid for my personal results. For example, the protocol for successful ovulation was that pdg should rise on days 6-10 DPO, and mine rose on days 10-13, so therefore my results showed up as less than optimal on their scale. 3) there was one day that was test results were obviously completely an error, didn’t make any sense. I was actually pregnant but the results told me my LH was 50 and my pdg was 0. The next day everything resulted in normal range again. Helpful tool for sure, but use with some caution.”

“I am in the middle of my Proov protocol now. It’s actually quite annoying that you cannot see past test strips. I actually don’t even know what each line a test strip indicates so I’m just blindly trusting the app. I’ve used other apps and you can clearly see the test strips you’ve uploaded. I’d also like to know what I’m looking at rather than just uploading and trusting. Can’t say it’s been a success or failure yet bc I’m in the middle but seems like I have no estrogen which I highly doubt?”

“The concept is good but the app and website information is lacking. The test results are confusing and the app doesn't offer any additional explanation to help you understand. I had to manually set my peak days because the LH results were slightly under what the app shows as a positive. If I hadn't done that the app would not have told me to take the PDG test. I also could not change the dates of my period so the dates are off. Lastly it would be nice to be able to see what is coming up the next day for what test to take. I have to look at the app when I wake up, before going to the bathroom to confirm if I need to pee in a cup or not.”

“The test accurately predicted my LH surge. 7 days later it said my progesterone levels were too low to confirm ovulation… but I still ended up being pregnant that month!”
