“Sue at Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 8220 Skokie Blvd, Skokie, IL has been great with me. She goes above and beyond! If she could do more than suggest moving to a smaller unit she would but her hands are tied. Prices go up and down, so when it works for me, she'll help me move if I need to. I hope this review gets her a raise!”

“Steer clear of this place!! They give a price to rent the unit and they will randomly start increasing the monthly rent amount once you've got your things in there. I called to ask why my rent amount increased by $40 after 5 months and was told by a rude representative that there's no cap on how much they increase your rent amount or how often they decide to increase it. She said it could be every 3 months, 6 months or whenever... Also, the property manager hides behind the 800 number, so good luck getting to speak with a person where your items are stored. I've left 3 messages for the Aledo, TX location and have never received a returned call. RUN!!!”

“Public Storage needs to let their customers know everything few months their storage fees will be increased. The ending of November 2022 the price of storage unit was $99 just paid my bill $155. I called to ask why the constant increase in payment was told to get a smaller unit. The unit I have is small. Now I have to make arrangements to fly to Florida and pay to get my belongings out of the unit. Please put it into your contract let your representative inform us to avoid additional expense and stress on your customers.”

“Rented a storage unit on 172nd and Halsted in East Hazel Crest and was extremely pleased. Mike is very pleasant to deal with and has top notch customer service. Will definitely used their services again.”

“I have been with Public Storage for a while. The unit is fine. But I started with a $121 per month, and have just received a notice that they are changing it to $427 per month. Be AWARE that they get you in and then bait and switch ...upping it not soon after, but then again every year. They are swindlers! And there does not seem to be anyone to reach out to help you. Oh. And the same place is advertising $151 per month for the same size right now!! Go ELSEWHERE and negotiate a longer contract in case!!!”

“I was frantic today to find out my storage units would be dramatically increasing in price by about $40.00. The increase would make my bill about close to $200. I found this unacceptable seeing as though its only been about 4 months of me being there. I called and left a message and got a return call stating my rates would be drastically Decreased. This act by management, Mr. Nelson, was a very welcoming call and I greatly appreciate it. I really like using Public Storage in the Owing's Mills area @ Dolfield Rd. It's unfortunate that too often the rates go up too fast.”

“If you are looking for customer service When it comes to storage units, this is the place Romero Tucson Az, This place is clean, easily accessible and has wonderful staff. This place truly has a treasure with Chas helped me with some questions I had coming in one day. She was very, very polite and extremely helpful, after a long day with moving she completely had me covered and was so understanding after I arrived and didn’t order the right size she got me a bigger unit no problem. Public Storage has a special lady working for you!!!”

“If you are looking for customer service When it comes to storage units, this is the place. This place is clean, easily accessible and has wonderful staff. This place truly has a treasure with Cheryl(who helped set up our account) and Tammy who helped me with some questions I had coming in one day. “the price of my unit has gone up over $200 and I had just moved in to that unit less than a month ago and you brought the price down to $157 approximately any guarantee for 6 months I'm very happy thank you so much for having him in your store give that guy a raise. thank you.”

“Public storage has gone up to $60 every six months I started at 180 a month I'm at 360 a month I have been shopping around I found a unit on 2920 in spring at I storage Same size unit climate control 10 x 20 for 118 a month 1/3 the cost of public storage”

“so, this my follow up review for ms paula at facility #23058 in elgin il 830 steel street. i feel like family and look forward to talking to and seeing ms paula. there's no okay hurry up and get out. if she has the time she bothers to chat with you, if she has information relating to other than storage she happily shares it. if my car cover gets loose ms paula makes sure it is intact and lets me know so i can take care of the challenge. ms paula is a people person. i am blessed to know her and you would be to if you meet her and would want to rent from her. lovingly ms pat w”

“TERRIBLE customer service! I have a moving van waiting to move my stuff into a storage space, I went over to the office to pay for the first month and get my unit number, and no one was there. It has now been THREE HOURS that I have been trying to reach someone, left many messages, and no one will call me back. Worst customer service ever and I will never rent a unit from this useless company again. I use a storage company 6 months every year, and I will go back to my previous company who was fantastic but a mile farther away.”

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Janean from Public Storage/East Cheyenne and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Janean’s excellent customer service was second to none. I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail provided, it definitely exceeded my expectations. Janean’s positive attitude made the atmosphere there so very pleasant and inviting. Public Storage is a game changer.
