“I discovered Pure Lakes a few years ago whilst shopping in Cockermouth and I fell in love with the smell (grapefruit and lemongrass) so bought a couple of items (body lotion and body wash) and they are absolutely gorgeous. I have since bought several items as presents for various friends and they all fell in love with them too. One friend who is in her 60s said it was the best her skin has ever felt after using the body lotion so I have to buy it for her now every Christmas and birthday! The smell of the Pure Lakes products is so natural and fresh and I actually prefer them to the ones I previously used to buy from the White Company. I would highly recommend Pure Lakes as a luxurious gift or for yourself as a bit of self-indulgence!”

“I discovered Pure Lakes on a recent holiday in the Lake District and thought I'd give them a try as I was looking to replace my current skin regime. The natural aromas and luxurious texture of the face creams and oils have me hooked. My skin feels plump and hydrated without feeling greasy. I also like the fact that they offer a refill service too and are committed to no animal testing. I look forward to trying more products from the range.”

“This was my first order from Pure Lakes; it won't be my last. I found it quite by accident, searching for another company, and was inspired by the range of natural skincare products and business values. I try to support local independents so decided to give it a go and bought moisturiser, body lotion and Neem, Mint & Lemongrass insect repellent. I am delighted. I chose 2 moisturisers, unsure which would be best for my skin (and I tend to change moisturisers, rather than stick with one forever) - the Neroli concoction and the Rose, both with Frankincense, which I figure is beneficial for the more mature skin (I'm 61 and my skin is on the dry side). I love them both and neither has aggravated my skin, both are very comfortable to wear. I chose the Mimosa and Petitgrain lotion, which to me (I think scents smell slightly differently to each of us and on each of us) has a warmly-spiced woody smell before a soft earthy floral comes through; it glides on and is quickly absorbed - it's lovely. So far, I have barely used the Anti-Insect - but so far so good; it smells nice for a repellent but it will take the summer for me to confidently comment on performance. The products arrived securely packaged and quickly. I'm so pleased I found you, Pure Lakes, and I look forward to trying more of your gorgeous products.”

“Facial hydration cream. Neroli, Rosehip and Frankincense. Lovely and rich but soaks in well. Quick delivery and liked the fact you could pay slightly less to not receive in a carton, which would have been discarded straightaway. 🙂”
