“Had the pleasure of these bath products at the Bridge Hotel Buttermere and loved the scent Bought online when I got home. The scent stays on your hands for ages like rubbing the actual plant itself”

“I tried the hair products whilst staying at the Brimstone earlier this year and was impressed at how it made my normally dull and prone to frizz hair feel. didn’t get chance to buy it on my way back home (just an idea but would it not make sense to have the brimstone sell your products to guests) and decided to order some online. Came quickly and my hair has been equally as good since using it (I had wondered whether it was different water type having the impact). I would like to see a 1 litre refillable pouch to decant into the bottles to make them more sustainable. A 5 litre bottle is too much for an individual but perfect for a hotel guest. You are missing a huge opportunity by not supplying refills to the consumer in this way! I’m not sure I would post my bottles back to be refilled as this is too much of a faff and takes the risk that the containers get lost in our poor postal system .”

“Absolutely fantastic service. The refil service is just amazing. Buy it online, repack and send off and within a few days it's back to you! Had a phone call from a lovely lady as they couldn't find my address with the postcode, that was sorted immediately. The fact that all the products are natural and handmade makes using them all the better. Never had such amazing skin before I started using Pure Lakes.”

“I first used this brand whilst staying in a hotel in Penrith. I was so impressed - I used the handcream every day and my hands were in better condition when I got home than I can ever remember! I've got horses and dogs - my hands take a beating! I've tried so many handcreams - scores and scores, but I can honestly say that the Pure Lakes hand and body lotion is the best.”

“Hi I have been using Pure Lakes hand sanitiser since the pandemic and keep a bottle in my car and use after I have been in the shops. The smell of the product and the non greasy feel is much better than any other product I have tried and all my family love it. Don't be put off by price it is worth it and lasts a long time.rompt”

“Love the products although I do find the grapefruit and lemon grass hand and body lotion very greasy I thought it was the one I’d used in the bedroom at the Langdale hotel but I must have got that muddled The shampoo is amazing.”

“Learned about your products on a recent visit to the lakes our hotel uses them for quests. The products are of excellent quality and the fragrances are simply wonderful.I will be ordering more from you in due course as they make great stocking fillers at Christmas and of course ordering more for our personal use”

“Local business so it feels good to support and i Love the ip balm, extermely soft when appiled and very long lasting. Worth the money, so functional and alot of balm for your money. Only downfal which put me off, was the excessive packaging, oh my lord the amount of packagine for such small item was shocking. However i would buy again and i would email asking just to send it in a one envelope. Overall its gawjus balm and its locallay made too, highly recommend- winner.”
