“My purchase was a very well received gift for someone else. They confirm that it is really lovely. However I was surprised to find that a cream priced £11 20 on the site would end up being - after taxes and postage -£26!”

“I would give 5 stars as I love the product it is always consistant and leaves my skin really soft but as I keep having such delivery problems I have had to knock it down to 4 stars. DPD driver keeps saying I am out when I am not and showing a picture of a semi detached 1930s house, I actually live in a flat. This results in me having to go and collect the package as I am 70 this is not easy for me to get to.”

“I was very happy with the body lotion and the soap and love the fragrance. However, I hadn't purchased Pure Lakes shower gel before and I was very disappointed because when I used it in the shower it didn't lather on my sponge. I no longer use it and the bottle sits on my bathroom shelf.”

“Fabulous creamy, beautifully fragrant, luxurious hand cream. Would have been perfect only for excessive plastic packaging in the box. Please use newspaper or brown paper that can be placed in the compost. Otherwise a perfect hand crafted product.”

“I've been using Pure Lakes products since it was a small local firm and delivered to my door. The quality has been consistently good but it's a pity there are fewer perfumes of shampoo and body lotion than of yore. Delivery is quick and beautifully packaged and on one occasion where the wrong product was sent it was quickly corrected and I was told to keep the one sent in error - a generous attitude.”

“Good service and prompt delivery. The shower gels I bought smell exquisite. In terms of a shower experience, I wish the gel was foamier - this is the only thing that lets it a bit down - although I appreciate it may be down to personal preference. Price tag is a bit hefty but this is a well above-average product so it is not totally unjustified. Can recommend on that basis.”

“Can’t fault product. The rose & neroli oil is fantastic. Have super reactive sensitive skin and this has been perfect for me after searching for a facial oil for YEARS. Light consistency, skin drinks it up and smells divine! Great value compared to high profile brands. 4 stars though as nearly £5 delivery for a £16 item seems steep particularly as when received packaging is so basic and box is small vs. delivery charge! expected something a little nicer, more thought through? This element is disappointing considering the quality of product.”

“The shower gel and diffuser oils are beautiful. The smell is amazing, just like a spa. I was really keen to support a small business with sustainability at their core. The only disappointment was that the packaging used to send me my items used plastic bubble wrap and lots of plastic tape. I'd like to see you move to plastic free packaging in the future. I applaud your move to refill items though and will look to make use of this feature in the future.”
