“Quasar was great to work with. We had to delay our trip by a year and it was no problem. The booking went very well and any questions we had were answered quickly and fully. They handled our covid test before going on the ship and again before we flew home. We were very impressed and appreciative of the ground staff at the Guayaquil airport who had our necessary paperwork and expedited us through security.”

“This was an experience of a lifetime! The Quasar team and naturalists were well organized, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable of the islands, wildlife, and conservation efforts. We were extremely pleased with how much they helped us navigate Ecuador and the Galapagos, and couldn't have asked for a more professional team.”

Thank you for your review and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your crew, guides and excursions in the Galapagos. We're sorry to read your comment about the goat killings in the Islands, something which was likely a topic of discussion during one of the nightly briefings from our naturalist guides. The greatest danger to the Galapagos and its unique fauna is the introduced species. These include animals like rats, cats, dogs and goats that were brought by humans to the Islands many years ago. At one time, goats were overrunning many of the islands of the archipelago and threatening the future of the Galapagos giant tortoise by eating all their food. The National Park took action and, over many years and with great difficulty, removed goats from the archipelago ensuring the future of the endemic Galapagos tortoises. We do agree with you that animal eradication is a sensitive subject, even when it's done to ensure the survival of another species. We have let our naturalists know about your comment so that they can talk about the issue in a different tone to future guests. “We loved our trip to the Galapagos with Quasar. The yacht was very nice and comfortable. The crew was outstanding and the naturalists were Knowledgeable and fun to be with. The food was very good. A trip of a lifetime and we are very happy that we chose to travel with Quasar.”

“The staff at Quasar are a joy to work with. They were always an email or phone call away. They kept us up-yo-date on things we needed to do prior to the trip. They arranged our flights from the mainland to the Galápagos which was extremely helpful. They even assisted us by arranging COVID tests to ge done at the hotel prior yo returning to the US. I even had an opportunity to communicate with their online store staff over the phone and the gentleman I spoke to was friendly and professional. I will be looking at Quasar in the future for other vacation opportunities.”

“Quasar did a fantastic job organizing & executing our trip to the Galapagos. It was wonderful to have everything taken care of so we could simply enjoy our vacation without any planning effort on our part. Every detail was carefully planned in advance for us by staff. “Our trip was complicated as a result of changing Covid rules, but Tasha Williams went above and beyond to help us successfully navigate the rules and have a spectacular trip. Since we were unable to cross he border to Argentina, Tasha suggested Atacama and we absolutely loved it.”

“An *amazing* company!! As a former Director of Operations for 15 years, I know a well-oiled machine when I see one. I understand the behind-the-scenes efforts that it takes to deliver 5-star service on not just a guest experience level, but a culinary one and a foreign one, not to mention how it takes even more effort to not show the effort to the guests. From how seamlessly the crew organizes and sets up each outing for the guests, to the flawless meal service, to the strategy of how and when the boat moves through her itinerary to maximize guest experience... it is all extremely impressive. An incredible team. I would especially like to recognize David for the art he presents at every meal, Alex for his creative animal creations in the guest rooms and attentive service, and guides Monica and Cornelia for their vast knowledge of the area and happy friendly company. And Renan for being so attentive at every meal and then some!”
