“Unbelievable experience … so happy I chose Quasar as the guides, staff and yacht were absolutely the best. We saw so many animals and had a wide variety of activities. Just a perfect time. Lastly they surprised me with a birthday celebration which I appreciated very much.”

“The boat (Grace), captain, crew, guides and cooks were FABULOUS. I would do it again, definitely. As for things I would improve: improved internet access and better communication on the availability of WiFi; better communication on how various alcohol plans work.”

Dear Norma and Clifford, Thank you for sharing your review of Quasar's Grace Yacht and your experience with our crew and guides. It's always wonderful to hear about great service and enjoyable experiences. We're also glad to hear that you had an overall fantastic time with us and that you would definitely do it again. We're here to welcome you back whenever you're ready! Regarding your suggestions for improvement, we can definitely understand the importance of reliable internet access while on a cruise. Unfortunately, while we do offer wi-fi on board our yachts for all Guests to use at no cost, it is not on par with what one has become accustomed to at home. That’s because Galapagos is a remote wilderness environment with limited satellite internet provider options and even though we have the best option available, connectivity can still be intermittent at times. The good news on this front is that Starlink (Elon Musk's Satellite Internet company) just announced that they are opening offices in Ecuador and the Galapagos, so that will surely improve satellite internet onboard Quasar's yachts for 2024. Finally, we've also noted your comments on being a little more clear about the bar and alcohol plans onboard. We did send you a link to our bar menu and our various alcohol packages on a few occasions, but we understand we might to want to make that clearer. And as an FYI, Quasar will be including a basic bar package in the cost of our cruises for 2024. “We had an amazing trip on the Grace expedition of Galapagos. The guides were so knowledgable, professional, and fun. The boat, its furnishings, and most importantly the staff all were so nice and seemed happy to work there. We felt safe, cared for, and listened to so that we could completely relax and not worry about anything- just what we were looking for for our honeymoon!”

“I would give 20 stars if I could for our trip aboard the Grace. I very very rarely write reviews. This was simply extraordinary. The staff and the guides were so lovely, personable great with my 5year old, my teenager and my almost 80 year old father. The experience was ... sublime. The Galapagos are a dream, a trip back in time and I just don't think there can be a better way to do it than with the Grace, at least not for an active family that appreciates great food and luxury at the same time ;)”

“This was one of the best family vacations we have ever had. The accommodations were great; the food was plentiful and excellent. Every day was well planned out, with experienced naturalists with plenty of sights and wildlife to see and enjoy. Daily snorkeling was one of our favorite activities. We highly recommend Quasar Expeditions to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

“My family if 7 had the trip of a lifetime on Evolution last month. The guides were totally awesome I’m their knowledge and made sure we saw everything that we could. The staff were lovely and the food was excellent. There were so many activities to do and they filled l out spare time with interesting things like towel art. It was a floating 5 star hotel and I would recommend it to anyone”

“My wife and I took a 7-day trip on the Quasar Evolution through the Galapagos. We can begin to tell you what a fabulous trip it was. The highlight, of course, was the wildlife and surrounding natural beauty. Between snorkeling with sea lions, turtles, rays, sharks, and penguins to hiking to kayaking, it was an adventure trip of a lifetime They billed it as a water safari and it was. And our three naturalists (Alex, Soto, and Rogerio) were knowledgeable and enthusiastic which made the trip even more fun. But a warning, the days often started early (before the heat) and involved 3-4 very active segments. Be prepared to be amazed and ready for bed each night.”

“Excellent service!! From start to finish our experience with Quasar Expeditions was excellent and exceeded our expectations. Many thanks to Dianne and Paul Schicke at Quasar Expeditions, who in addition to booking the Grace Yacht for our Galapagos adventure, also took care of booking all our Quito hotels and tours including our trip to the Amazon following our time in the Galapagos. All details were carefully taken care of and nothing was overlooked. We look forward to returning to the Galapagos in the future and would highly recommend Quasar Expeditions!”

“This was our second time using Quasar to visit South America. The first trip was to the Galapagos, and honestly, that was our "trip of a lifetime". This trip to Patagonia was our "second trip of a lifetime". And it was worth it! Seeing the "end of the world" with your own eyes is an adventure that text, pictures or stories won't do justice. Having Quasar pretty much arrange everything makes the trip all that more enjoyable. From selecting our stays, to our guides and adventures... it all was perfect! Once we were in the Jeep, Quasar kept in contact, making sure everything was going wonderfully. We hope we can travel again with this company!”
