“This was our second time using Quasar to visit South America. The first trip was to the Galapagos, and honestly, that was our "trip of a lifetime". This trip to Patagonia was our "second trip of a lifetime". And it was worth it! Seeing the "end of the world" with your own eyes is an adventure that text, pictures or stories won't do justice. Having Quasar pretty much arrange everything makes the trip all that more enjoyable. From selecting our stays, to our guides and adventures... it all was perfect! Once we were in the Jeep, Quasar kept in contact, making sure everything was going wonderfully. We hope we can travel again with this company!”

“We wanted to go to Patagonia on our honeymoon and found Quasar through Instagram and could not have been more happy with our trip! Planning the itinerary with Tasha was so easy and she was super helpful every step of the way. And our actual trip exceeded all expectations! The Jeep was so much fun to have to ourselves and the daily directions were easy to follow. We loved having the freedom to explore Torres del Paine in that way! Our stay at Kau Rio Serrano was also amazing. The location to the park was perfect and we loved that it was a quieter, more boutique hotel, rather than some of the busier places we saw around the area. Every meal at Kau Rio Serrano was delicious and we loved being able to eat local food, we would eat at Kau Rio Serrano every day for forever if we could. Our stay in Mendoza was also absolutely amazing. We had the best guide and driver for our day of winery visits/tastings, which made the day that much better. Quasar planned everything exactly like we were hoping for our trip and I would highly recommend planning a trip with them!”

“Truly an amazing experience! The crew was incredibly hospitable and had great attention to detail. The guides were very knowledgeable and attentive. We had a great time every day and had incredible meals to look forward to. The activities, food, experiences and people were all beyond what we expected.”

“The whole trip was fantastic, from the outstanding Naturalists to the crew and Captain. The food was excellent, especially the fresh fish every day. The highlight of the trip was the amazing animals and sea life of the Galapagos. The Frigate birds, Boobies, Sea Lions, Giant Tortoise, Hammerhead Sharks and fish life were spectacular.”

“Every aspect of our trip was well organized with timely connections and expert organization. The jeep we used was fully loaded with everything we needed to be comfortable on our journeys. The Atacama Desert portion of our trip was one of our best locations ever. The only downside to the entire trip was at Lago Grey where we were unable to sleep peacefully for two of the four nights there. The window seal was broken therefore on those two especially windy nights the wind “screamed” through the window as well as shook violently. We reported this problem but it was not remedied . Do not stay in room 914!”

“The Galapagos expedition booked through quasar on evolution yacht was very well planned. The daily activities and education on board and while hiking and snorkeling gave us a complete picture of the history and ecology of the islands. It was physically demanding, but the crew and staff tailored the activities to travelers individual interests and abilities.”

“Where Jurassic Park, luxury yacht, and personal service meet. Our week exploring the Galapagos on the Grace yacht with Quasar exceeded expectations on every dimension. The flora and fauna were literally out of this world - brought to life magically by our two naturalists for 15 people and the 14 person staff on the Grace,. The intimate yacht felt like a bespoke trip with good friends and family that catered to every whim. Swimming with sea lions, turtles, penguins and multiple shark species was spectacular. A bucket list par excellence”

“My husband and I just got back from our magical jeep safari to Patagonia after having to postpone this trip for 2 years, it was well worth the wait! Wish we had stayed longer! Tasha was wonderful in guiding us through all of the planning, our guide Tanya was extraordinary and so knowledgeable about Patagonia and taking us on the most incredible hikes and siting of condors, pumas, guanacos, and cara caras, and the places we stayed were mind blowing! Every aspect of the planning with Quasar is superb. This is our second trip with Quasar and I can't recommend them enough!”

“Our experience exceeded expectations. Spending each day with the Quasar Naturalists snorkeling, hiking and kayaking was a beautiful experience. Alex, Diego and Hernan were exceptional, all were extremely knowledgeable and attentive. Alex went above and beyond with his kind offers to help and made sure we had a great time. The kitchen, bar, front desk, and suite attendants were all excellent. Caesar and Aldo took terrific care of us. The Quito and Galapagos excursions were unique & well organized .”

“How often can a person truthfully say that their expectations about something were exceeded? Such is the case with our Quasar Expedition on The Grace to the Galapagos. Everything from the honest insight provided by Diane and Paul during the booking process, to the ease with which practical matters were addressed (from hotel bookings to transportation, and guide recommendations in Ecuador), all went smoothly. The Galapagos trip itself was truly once-in-a-lifetime. We were blessed with great weather and fantastic traveling companions (something which Quasar obviously has no control over) but the experience was made all the more enjoyable by our friendly & knowledgeable guides and crew members. The food was excellent, the accommodations wonderful (although I wish we could have swung the Grace Kelly Suite - ha ha) and all the crew on board Grace made us feel like truly welcome guests. On land and in the water, we saw and experienced everything we could have hoped for! Thank-you for the trip of a lifetime!”

“Quasar is an exceptional organization. My trip to Patagonia was superb. Excellent accommodations, the guides were experts on the region and the activities we were doing, and our planner was gracious with our many questions and travel dilemmas that arose. I used Quasar to plan the Patagonia trip and then, two weeks later, a trip to the Galapagos Islands. I had to cancel the latter when I became ill with COVID in Buenos Aires during the week between the two trips. Even thought they didn't plan my Buenos Aires trip, they found a hotel for me to stay in for my quarantine period and did whatever they could for me through their 24/7 hotline when problems arose with returning home. I will rebook my Galapagos trip with Quasar without question and plan to include one or two additional family members this time. My deep gratitude to the Quasar teams! And I'll post the 35+ pound Chinook Salmon that I caught on Rio Serrano with a wonderfully patient and enthusiastic guide!”

“We did a trip with Quasar Expeditions to Patagonia for our honeymoon. We had an incredible time and would definitely recommend using Quasar for anyone going to Patagonia. It was so nice to not have to worry about logistics and to have everything taken care of for us. The hotels were incredible, and the food was delicious.”
