Our family of four, including 2 teenage children, had a fabulous time on the M/V Evolution. The ship was the perfect size, extremely comfortable, and the staff was terrific. Loved the fact that unlike many other boats, we had exterior decks on 2 levels for watching the sunrise, star gazing, relaxing, and making use of the great hot tub. We had amazing experiences from walking on black lava fields, to snorkeling with sea turtles, penguins, sea lions, and more. Our Naturalist guides,Boli and Gustavo, were extremely knowledgeable, very friendly, and lots of fun to learn from on each excursion. The other guests were interesting and adventurous people and striking fast friendships with them on this friendly boat greatly enhanced our experience. We would definitely (and have already) recommend the Evolution to anyone looking for a Galapagos cruise experience.

We had a phenomenal holiday in the Galapagos and Quito thanks to Quasar. Our week on the Grace was one of the most relaxed and pampered of our lives. The team were exceptional from the time of first enquiry. Nothing was overlooked and nothing was too much trouble. Quasar gave us the best opportunities to experience the islands, such that many days, it felt like we were the only people on earth. The food and service was top notch and the guides enriched the trip with their extensive education and local knowledge. We will be back!

We have always wanted to visit the Galapagos for a long time. Quasar provided an amazing experience. Our guide, Alex, was incredibly knowledgeable on all things pertains to the islands and the interaction of native plants and species & the stresses that humans and introduced creatures. As far as touring.... Alex made the trip. One of the best guides we've ever interacted with. Quasar provided a very comfortable vessel with spacious rooms. The food was fresh, delicious & excellent. They made sure all guests were well taken care of. We would definitely recommend Quasar to anyone who wants to visit the Galapagos. There were numerous hiking opportunities, snorkeling and wildlife tours.

Quasar expeditions looked after us wonderfully in every way. Our cruise of the Galapagos Islands on My Grace was amazing, the naturalists Rafa and Walter were exceptional and the crew looked after us very well. Very happy we chose Quasar and My Grace. We were looked after from the time we landed in Ecuador until we were delivered to the airport in Quito for our flight home. The guides that Quasar provided were terrific, they enhanced the quality of our experience / time in Ecuador. They were knowledgeable, personable, loved their country and had great language skills. In spite of the fact we only speak or read English we left feeling like we had learned a bit about the people and history of Ecuador. Thank you very much! Joyce and Rick Castonguay Calgary Canada

Our tour of the Galapagos couldn't have been better. Grace is a beautiful ship, and from the moment we boarded we were treated to a week of adventure and fun. Alex and Walter were excellent guides. They had the answers to all our questions, and shared information about the islands to make every stop so special. The snorkeling and hiking were well planned to give us the best experience possible. The crew took care of our every need. Rooms were cleaned several times a day, and the food was excellent. Our cruise director, Michelle, was a pro at keeping things running smoothly. The captain was very skilled and clearly concerned about our safety and comfort. We had a minor medical issue arise on the trip, and the crew and tour company coordinated to take care of the situation. It was handled so well that it barely affected our trip. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

We travelled with Quasar Expeditions and found them to be an excellent company. The highlight was a seven day stay on the M/Y Grace. The ship was stunning in every way, delicious food, wonderful staff, excellent service. The attention to our comfort was truly amazing: from the Captain welcoming us back on board, drinks on deck, hot tub and drinking chocolate after snorkel was a great treat The guides was excellent, detailed briefing every night made sure you really knew what you were seeing and experiencing. The small groups and detailed commentary meant we really learnt a lot about the animals, plants and geology. The content was top class for anyone with prior knowledge or who had done lot of preparation. We extended our trip to drive from Guayaquil to Quito and apart from altitude sickness as we reached 14,000 feet we had a wonderful experience. The hotels they arranged were gorgeous, especially, the MaisonAlcazar. beautiful Cuenca. We had a very thoughtful and knowledgeable guide called Franco there. We would wholeheartedly recommend using this company and I tend to do so ourselves.

We had a wonderful time! Diane, Paul, and all the other Quasar folks we dealt with couldn't have been better. The hotels, tours, and absolutely everything were just great. Even the animals on the islands were very co-operative with posing for pictures.

As part of our honeymoon we boarded M/Y Grace for a week to sail around the Galapagos Islands. Everything was absolutely fantastic and faultless - the staff were all very attentive and helpful, the guides were enthusiastic and knowledgable, the food was what you'd expect from a 5 star hotel, the presentation, quality, and flavour was amazing. The cabin was cosy and there was housekeeping about 2 or 3 times a day, our room was always spotless. The booking process was good and they send you lots of information on what to expect and what to pack etc, it was very helpful. I would wholeheaetedly recommend the Grace to anyone who wants an unfoegettable experience.

Highly Recommend. Staff paid great attention to all details from the cabin attendants, naturalists, Cruise Director all the way up to the Ship's Captain. Geology and Natural History of the Galapogos are well worth learning about and Quasar's SS Evolution is a great way to do it with a wide range of activities.

The 7 days were wonderful Alex was a superb guide, with incredible knowledge. Meals were excellent. Michelle was an excellent hostess, and all the crew were very very good. Nellie kept our cabins really clean. We were most disappointed with the $200 per person drinks charge . Only Sauvignon Blanc , which we don't drink , Cabernet Sauvignon which we drink rarely , beer . No Chardonnay , Merlot , or mixed drinks eg Giin & Tonic which we especially Gaye drinks , which we had to purchase on top . Not explained to me and very poor value . Jimmy , our captain was excellent as previous .

The process of arranging our Galapagos cruise aboard the M/V Evolution was efficient and organized. We were kept completely informed on a timely basis. An incredible amount of background information was provided. The cruise was excellent, the crew and cruise director, Mishel, were always attentive, friendly, informative, and one step ahead of our needs. From the morning wake up music to the evening briefings for the next day's agenda, the activities were organized and never felt rushed. Food was amazing, plentiful, and of various cuisines. Dr. Ruben, the onboard doctor, was always on the spot monitoring an abrasion caused by a stumble on a trail. The naturalists, Roberto and Gustavo, provided knowledge of the geology, vegetation, birds, reptiles, and sea life that we encountered on the islands and in the sea with clarity and humor. They were invaluable in pointing out things we would have otherwise missed. Our cabin, C4, had plenty of room, was well-equipped and comfortable for a couple despite being one of the smaller ones on the C deck. The trails and landings are not difficult, but do require some agility.

Quasar and it's staff were extremely helpful. During the entire trip, everything ran smoothly and was very well coordinated with the drivers, guides and all services. If you are going to the Galapagos, the ONLY way to go is on the Grace!
