“Our tour of the Galapagos on the M/Y Grace was superb! Everything- ship, crew, guides- exceeded our expectations. By the way, our expectations were very high!! The cabins and meals were all excellent. Having never "toured" before, we were a bit amazed at the scheduling of activities. But there is no way that we would have experienced so much of the islands, had we not been pressed to do so. The guides, Roberto and Walter, absolutely made the experience for us. Their knowledge of the islands was astounding. Most importantly, their passion for their home and its preservation enraptured us. An added blessing for all of the passengers on Grace was the fortune of a very complementary group of folks. Everyone got along well and coalesced very well. It made it so pleasant for all. “My husband and I traveled through the Galapagos on the M/V Evolution with our daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. All of us have traveled extensively on 5 continents, and we all agreed this was our best trip ever! For all of us, the trip exceeded our expectations! We can’t say enough about the guides, activities, wildlife viewing, the food, the service. Everything Quasar arranged for us - transfers, flights, tours and hotel in Quito - were flawless. A note for other seniors - At age 74, I was worried that the activities would be too rigorous for me, but they were not at all. My husband and I participated in everything. If you haven’t been to the Galapagos, put it on your bucket list now!”

“We recently sailed aboard "Grace" with our 6 children on a private charter for 8 days. If I could give the experience more than 5 stars, I would do it in a heartbeat. Everything about the trip exceeded our already high expectations. The ship was fantastic and in perfect condition. The Captain and crew went above and beyond to make it special for everyone. The food was top notch. And last but not least, our Naturalist Guide, Lulu, was a superstar. This is a "once in a lifetime" experience. I have been to 64 countries, and I can honestly say that this was the best travel experience of my life! And as our video (attached to the review) says, "we'll be back before we know it" :-)”

“What an amazing trip! Diane at Quasar did an amazing job getting everything organized and communicating with us. She made it very clear what the Covid requirements were and how everything would be handled. “We had originally planned to visit the Galapagos in 2020 but covid put our trip on hold. Quasar offered us a voucher and a year later honored it with an upgrade to the M/V Evolution as our original vessel was no longer in service. Our main contact with Quasar was Linda Andersson. She helped immensely, organizing the dates and particulars of the trip. She was always prompt and courteous with answers to all of our many questions. Quasar is a top notch company with excellent employees and great customer service. We are seasoned world travelers who particularly enjoy nature and geology. We put this trip as one of our best ever! You won't be disappointed.”

“I recently had the tremendous pleasure of traveling with Quasar Expeditions in the Galápagos. It was without the most amazing trip I have ever taken. I was a little concerned about getting into Ecuador and the Galápagos National Park during a pandemic. However, Diane and Paul gave me all the relevant information and advice I needed to make this happen. Quasar made all transportation arrangements from the time I landed in Quito to the time I departed back home (this did not include my flights into and out of Ecuador itself or any excursions I made while on the mainland). They also made sure that entrance fees had been taken care of as well as providing me with all the documentation I needed to enter the national park. In short, I had absolutely nothing to worry about. I intend to tour the second half of the Galápagos Islands with Quasar in the next year or two. I’m convinced they’re the best at what they do.”

“Chartering the 'Grace' for a week for my wife and 14 friends to tour some of the Galapagos Islands was a trip of a lifetime. The yacht is gorgeous, but what made the trip was the crew on the boat and the staff in support. Every detail was perfect. From meeting us at the airport in Quito, to tours, our stay at an Eco-station in the Amazon forest, everything was perfectly arranged.”

“The most idyllic multi-generational family vacation imaginable. The boat crew were terrific - kind, imaginative, thoughtful and efficient: the 2 guides were superb - knowledgeable, patient, informed on every subject, able to respond to all ages (one helped my 7yo granddaughter collect shells, wood and rocks for a display before we left the island where the display needed to remain!: the chef who created one delicious meal after another: the wild life and the ability to see the animals, reptiles, tortoises and birds up close a never to be forgotten experience. The landscapes and scenery on some of the islands out of this world literally. I could not recommend the Grace and the weeklong cruise around the Galapagos more highly.”

We were pampered by the amazing crew, from fresh juice welcomes after snorkeling to immaculately cared for staterooms to daily snorkel or hikes with the expert guides. We enjoyed the original and delicious cuisine and the attention of each friendly crew member including the Captain. We would repeat the experience in a heart beat! Truly a great memory!”

“This 5 Star Company delivered a 10 Star Service. After completing our Quasar Expeditions’s trip to the Galápagos Islands on the advice of many previous reviews I cannot thank this company enough for a WOW experience for my wife and I. Since we don’t speak Spanish we prefer to have EVERYTHING taken care for us. From the moment we landed in Quito, Ecuador until we left we didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING. The hotel’s recommended to us pre and post voyage were fabulous. The M/V Grace Yacht and crew was top notch. We weren’t expecting the Michellin type of dining on all 3 meals a day and the post excursion beverages and snacks were much appreciated and not promised on our pre-trip itinerary. If you want a 1st Class experience on ANY trip this is the company you want to look at.”
