Everything about this trip could not have been better. Excellent staff. Fascinating walks on the islands. Good snorkeling. Very comfortable ship. I was just delighted with the entire week as was my 12 year old granddaughter. Gerd grace

We travelled through the Galapagos on board the elegant and refined yacht Grace. Quasar took care of all the arrangements, transfers, hotels, local flights, and guides. Everything went without a hitch making this the easiest and most enjoyable trip we have taken to date. The boat was very comfortable, the staff professional and attentive, the guide exceedingly knowledgeable, and the food fresh and hearty. We wanted for nothing and wouldn't change anything. I unreservedly would recommend a trip to the Galapagos for anyone who loves nature, solitude, the thrill of discovery, and has a thirst for learning. Quasar provides the platform and logistics to make the most of this unique and enriching experience.

We spent a week on the mv Grace in May 2015 - and had a once in a lifetime experience. The accommodation, meals, crew and naturalists were all first class and worked hard to ensure that we not only had a great time - but went away much more informed about the Galapagos Islands. Highly recommend Quasar Expeditions.

My husband and I and our high-school aged daughter traveled to the Galapagos over the Christmas holiday (Dec. 2016) with Quasar and I cannot recommend this trip more highly! Every aspect of the trip was perfect, including the food, the on-boat accommodations, and all of the staff. The Quasar folks (Diane especially) who assisted with our pre-trip arrangements were also excellent! The naturalist/guides on the ship with us were knowledgeable and helpful, whether we were snorkeling or hiking/exploring on shore. They even took photos (including underwater photos), which we received on an SDM card free of charge at the end of the trip !! One major advantage of the smaller ship that Quasar uses ("The Grace") is that our group could move much more nimbly in and out of various snorkel and hiking excursions than large ships which have many more people to organize and coordinate. We spent no time waiting for others in our group -- lots of time doing things. And we got to know (and enjoyed) everyone on our ship. A trip of a life-time, which we will all remember fondly !!

This was one of the best family vacations of our lives. The beauty of the nature was not the only reason why. The crew, yacht, organization, day’s plan, meals, ambiance, and itinerary all also had an equal contribution in making this one of the best trips of my life as well. This is especially valuable considering that I have traveled to more than 35 countries. Everything was impeccable. The crew was extremely kind, attentive, carrying, and tailored some of the days’ activities based on the “spirit” of the group traveling. I give this trip a 5 star recommendation and my fullest recommendation. Thank you Quasar for such a fabulous and unforgettable experience!

My experience was great from start to finish. We stayed on The Grace and had a wonderful crew and the other guests were perfect to spend 8 days with. The entire experience was amazing. I have nothing else to compare it to but we enjoyed every minute of it. (Except the one night of travelling rough seas:) Our cabin was great. The food was great. My only complaint would be the drinks were quite pricely, but we were up so early and then so tired after a fun filled activity packed day having more than one glass of wine might have been too much?

We loved our trip in the Galapagos with Quasar. The ship Evolution was a beauty, with large staterooms and common areas. All the crew, from the captain to the bartenders, were welcoming, and fun. We hiked and swam everyday. Our guides made sure we were early to the islands to avoid the heat, and crowds. For the most part, it seemed we were the only people on the islands, sharing the natural beauty with the animals

Our trip was outstanding. Everything from the clean, spacious room to the delicious food, the warm, eager-to-please staff and guides was perfect. This was a totally relaxing vacation - no internet - that far exceeded our expectations. We look forward to going again when our grandchildren are old enough to enjoy it.

I cant say enough great things about Quasar. Every step was well planed. I never had to guess or worry about tickets or transportation. The guides and staff are wonderful. The two guides on the boat are a must for everyone. Raphael and Juan are outstanding. I noticed other tour companies and talked to guest that didn't even come close to the service received by Quasar. I cant wait to use Quasar again. Thank you for a vacation of a lifetime. Mark Miller

Our group of 32 family, friends, and associates was not an easy one to organize or to please. Most are discerning travelers and many are budget-minded. We had diverse abilities, needs, and expectations—and everyone ended up with nothing but praise and also awe at this one-of-a-kind interaction with nature, science, and culture with very intense encounters with nature while feeling pampered and respected. One member of our group had a limited ability to walk due to recent knee surgeries and other problems. He fully expected to lounge on the boat while others enjoyed the creatures up close. Your crew determined that he would see and do almost as much as the others and created a exceptional plan where the ship’s captain and doctor went on every excursion with him to assist his walking and insure his safety. You arranged special panga rides to the prime spots so he could avoid walking too far or make difficult landings. This was so far above and beyond an expectation that not only did this gentleman have a fantastic time, we all reveled in his enjoyment—and noticed that his physical abilities improved with what turned out to be therapeutic! These guests included serious mountain climbers, expert divers, professional photographers, a marine biologist, experienced yachtsmen, many doctors, lawyers, PhDs in various fields, a writer, filmmaker, judge, editor, and policymakers—a very tough crowd! We also had two people with medically challenging diets. There was not a single complaint about the cabins, delicious meals, or even the demanding schedule. Not only was every need met—the crew intuited some before the request was made. (One guest prefers to drink iced tea and she brought her own mix. When the bartenders saw what she was doing, he brewed some fresh and served it to her as a surprise. Many of us started ordering it as well.) Of course we could rave about the amazing sightings of many varieties of whales, rare birds, undersea encounters in crystalline water, but another group might have a different—but surely as interesting—experience. However, the value of these was not just a list of species but the depth of the information and context that our naturalists conveyed. Also, it was because of their expertise in knowing where to go, the exact time of day, how to avoid other groups in the same location, which was food for the mind and soul as well as the immediacy of the uniqueness of the moment. First and foremost, though, I must praise the safety on this vessel. Getting off an on pangas in various sea conditions can be tricky and your system of three people assisting helped people in their 30s to late 70s to be confident. Plus you always had staff to lend a hand at sea, while snorkeling, or on land in difficult terrain to help many—including me—to have a “personal best” in terms of meeting physical challenges. Your system for handling various levels of snorkelers in open water was the best I’ve ever seen. I cannot praise the crew highly enough for their smarts, professionalism, and personal kindness. Plus, there were certain touches of comfort and luxury made the voyage extra special for me including icy towels after a hot excursion, those delicious and healthful tropical fruit smoothies, the always-fresh and interesting Ecuadorian cuisine, the warm Jacuzzi and cool beverages after a snorkel, the generous beach and spa towels, the wet suit assistance, the luxury linens, tasty snacks, yummy soups, and so much more! I cannot praise Quasar highly enough for its preparation, attention to detail, educational aspects, humor and fun, professionalism, and personal kindness from everyone we encountered.

Every aspect of our Galapagos excursion was wonderful. The whole crew from Captain on down went out of their way to provide great service and make sure that every need was met. The guides were extremely knowledgeable, the food was delicious and beautifully presented, the attention to each person's individual needs was remarkable and every member of the crew was delightful.

What an amazing adventure. I wasn't sure what to expect and I'm still not sure that I actually have the language to describe the voyage other than to say it was like visiting the Original Garden. Our naturalists were incredibly knowledgeable and made our excursions meaningful and fun; the crew catered not just to our "vacation" needs but also, literally, to our physical needs. I was very concerned for my 83 father's safety and the entire crew, including Captain Victor, took such great care of him, ensuring that he was able to participate as fully as he wanted in a safe manner, was above and beyond. The crew also took into account that a ten year old might feel a little out of place in a crowd of teenagers and adults, and they were so exceptionally kind to my nephew. A wonderful crew and if you ever need a nurse to go on any voyage, I'm your trusted Shellback :-) Thank you all again.

I have traveled all over the world and have worked with various tour operators, but nobody does it like Quasar Expeditions. Their product is just as impressive as their staff, and I can't wait to visit South America again so I can see more destinations through their tours! They are quick to accommodate any request, and I am drawn to their unique routes of exploration. Seeing the Galapagos via Grace Kelly's honeymoon yacht and adventuring through Patagonia in my very own Jeep at my own pace was luxury at its finest. I would recommend Quasar to anyone - and I have on many occasions!

For my 50th birthday I started on the bucket list with a trip to the Galapagos Islands and booking through Quasar Expeditions made the experience unforgettable. The intimacy of The Grace with the excellent crew and naturalists aboard by week's end we were all like family. Top notch service, food and wonderful staterooms. The itinerary was planned out perfectly that you didn't miss anything form of wildlife whether you were on land or in the sea. The daily schedule was perfectly timed with two great excursions a day and enough down time to reflect on the days activities. If you are planning a trip to the Galapagos Islands I would make a point to book with Quasar Expeditions.

A trip of a lifetime with the family. We all enjoyed the experience and the activities. Flora and fauna were incredible. Fauna was the most friendly and not scared of human beings. The sights, activities and the life on board were all friendly, and of the best type and an experience that we had not lived many times. Crew and guides were all very good and worried about us having a great time, never forgetting that we had to be safe and comply with park regulations, but never making us feel that we could not enjoy where we were.
